Summoner threatening self harm

This is not about me, but another player I encountered. We had a misplay and the player flamed me. I told the player "stfu" and muted all until about the end of the game. I was the support the player was the ADC. I went some off meta items as the game was over after getting flamed. The player then said they hurt themselves because of me and said it was my fault. I'm genuinely terrified. I've submitted a support ticket, and attempted to add the player to talk to them, but they've been offline. I don't know what to do.

Not your problem. You have no responsibility over another person's actions, especially a person you've never met or even seen. If they are so screwed up in the head that they would legitimately hurt themselves over something like that, then they would have done so with or without you.

don't bother

regardless if it's legit or not, it's neither your fault, nor your problem.

emotional blackmail by suicide threaths is not a rabbit hole you should explore

Nothing you can do. You already submitted a support ticket (not sure there's anything they would do). You've done your duty.

Are you white knights all over these forums so secretly toxic that you've forgotten about basic human dignity?

Everyone replying in this thread is the exact reason most league players hate each other and WHY toxicity runs rampant in this community--no one cares about anyone anymore, except people who are perfect in their own eyes (and even then, they have to be perfect on the side of perfect).

Disgusting.

As somebody who has dealt with both self harm and abusive situations... don’t worry. I can assure you that this player is fine and you have done nothing wrong. You have already done a wonderful thing by contacting Riot but I don’t think you should take further actions. Honestly, the reason I brought up abuse, is because this sounds like a common manipulation tactic where a person threatens or pretends to do things like that for the sole purpose of hurting you. But they rarely ever act on it and only do so when the person would be able to actually see the results. In an online setting with no way of showing proof (even fake proof), you’re fine. They’re fine.

Let it go. People die every day. As we are on the internet, whatever that person chooses to do, they'll do. Move on and play another game. Life is life, let him choose what to do with it.

There's nothing you can do.
