I have had 2 accounts banned, and half of the reasons were nonsense.

I've been banned 2 times and some of the reasons are decent, but the others are completely ridiculous! I have the chat logs for evidence if you'd like -_-

Welcome to Riot customer service. I to have a perma banned account, and have had some 14-d bans on a couple of accounts.. Just gotta move on and remember to not invest too much in skins since they'll ban no questions asked on any suspicion.

To be fair though, not many game companies are much different these days.. Anything is liable to be taken even after spending dollars. Just how life works.
