Held hostage for a losing game....

I tried to vote to a losing game cos bot lane was feeding a Jhin with 10/0 even before 10 minutes. Then 15 minutes mark hit, I vote to surrender but one or two braindead player/s refuse to surrender and ended up dragging the game but still lose that match.....feeding the game till the point of no return is one thing but dragging the game longer is another!

If you don’t want to play a full game of League, win or lose, don’t queue up.

It’s not them holding you hostage - you agreed to play.

Your "point of no return" is subjective.

Players who refuse to surrender are not necessarily braindead. Some of them just enjoy playing League of Legends and would rather play a losing game than have to go wait in a queue again. Especially if they're playing in a position with a long queue time or a high rate of auto-fill.

Its almost like you are playing with other people and they have an equal say in a game

A fed ADC won’t carry a fight if you hard-engage on him. Jhin can run around, but he has no real escapes if a tank or juggernaut is on top of him.

If I think that’s a realistic thing that could happen in a team fight, especially if I’m winning my own lane, I’m gonna vote no.

Choose a lane, split-push endlessly and farm jungle camps, and avoid your team. If your team is good enough to win, you will be farmed up enough to make the difference that wins the game. If you're team is utter trash, which is the more common scenario, the game will end much faster because you're not there to help stall.

Calling for surrenders when your team is full of feeding apes is a waste of time. They will always insist they can win while still feeding their asses off. If you're usually the best player on your team, that is to say, you are somewhat strong and have a brain, your absence makes a huge difference in how quickly a game ends. A feeding team gets instantly steam rolled in team fights without their best player there. And usually the enemy team just rolls over everything until they kill the Nexus after killing your team.

There's always a way to catch up if you can drag out a game. When everyone is at full build -- no one cares if someone has an extra 50K gold to spend.

Remove the surrender option in ranked below Plat or even Diamon. Thx
