This is nothing more than a matter of words. Although it may not be a nice thing to do, it is never going to amount to anymore than just that. If you cant find the reason in your brain to separate yourself from people who mouth off to make themselves feel better, than you are sadly destined to become one. Actually, I know a few people who use the terms cancer, and herpes in a very non serious way, because they are literally just trash talking, and it's after the game. These people are not bad people and they do it in all good joking just to get a rise out of the people we crushed. There's no way for you to know the intentions of the person saying it though. They do not drop down to racial slurs but they have a good bit of fun calling other people racist and typing "LOL" afterwards. that's usually how you can tell. But like I said, it's hard to tell if the joking is actual joking and not really true hate, or if it's a literal "in the closet" weirdo who really does mean every word of it.
