hi so i got a post removed for "harassment" http://i.imgur.com/1AxM1IU.png[/img] http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/GD/w4p9laml-i-think-riot-hates-mages this is the thread my post was in so you dont have to type it out

and i have two questions

  1. is this really considered harassment?
  2. why is this post,

[{quoted}](name=My Face Is OP,realm=NA,application-id=mNBeEEkI,discussion-id=EgRX4Xlm,comment-id=000500000000000100010000000000000000000000000000,timestamp=2016-01-05T09:38:25.030+0000)

I told him nothing but the truth backed up by facts in that thread.

Maybe Riot isn't the problem, and you people are. If you aren't able to discern facts and get girl feelings over it, you should not be able to report and decide who gets banned and warnings. You are breaking the system by lack of sound judgement.

where in bold the person is saying exactly the same thing i said, not deleted while mine is?

now im not asking that this post be deleted, i honestly have no problem with it, i just want to know why my post was removed for "harassment" while a post almost identical to mine was not, and i would like to have the warning given to me removed

Wording is very important. I agree that what you said wasn't THAT bad, but you could have said something like

Statistically, some people are able to win consistantly with Vel'Koz. Have you tried experimenting with some off-meta options for runes, masteries or items? Even if it doesn't work for you, it might make something click. I did that with a lot of champions I couldn't get working for me, and now they're some of my top picks!

See, I essentially said the same thing, but in a non-aggressive and even helpful way. Language is naturally clunky, and what you mean may not be what others hear, and it really isn't anyone's fault. Careful wording can help avoid these kinds of misunderstandings.

I wouldn't really label this as being particularly harassing, although it is an attack on the person you are responding to. I would definitely label this as being inappropriate or unhelpful. There is no good that can be done by saying, "the problem is u" after stating that you are obviously better than the person. It's not what you say, it's how you say it.

A much more helpful and non-attacking response could have been something like...

I play a lot of Vel'Koz, and in my experience he can be strong. Here is some advice that I have that might help you improve your play: (I don't have any advice as I don't play him, so fill in the blanks)

Again, context is important.

#As for this post that you provided as an example:

[{quoted}](name=My Face Is OP,realm=NA,application-id=mNBeEEkI,discussion-id=EgRX4Xlm,comment-id=000500000000000100010000000000000000000000000000,timestamp=2016-01-05T09:38:25.030+0000)

This post, although rude, isn't directed at any particular person. I am sure if someone reported it for being offensive it will also be removed.

"Inappropriate satire", is basically your thread.

I hope you are not too ignorant to know what satire is. (This is an example of satire)

Harassment are only flagged if a user flags them. You could've constructed the response with advice versus just saying the problem was the user. What's harrassing to one person could be benign to another or even tolerated by the same user coming from a different source.

In short, yes.
