How to stop trollpicks and instalockers

If someone in your team instalocks or trollpick in the champion select then the rest of the team should have a option to disable te champion select and the player would get a ban. Riot should add a button in champion select that will start a vote ( against the guy who trolls) for leaving the select. And the players who started the vote should get a honor for being a good player and reporting the instalocker or troller

Cool I will bring 3 friends to bling pick, find you, and we ban you. Nice idea I like it.

There is no such thing as "trollpick" or "instalock". ANyone can pick any champion they want. What does it matter if they lock it immediately or after 45 sec?

Sounds like "if you call your lane, but there are premades who just annouced too late, let them kick you for instalocking"

"instalocking" is an issue in blind pick because of your mentality. Look, if they call a role in blind pick they can lock whatever they want for it. You sound very dense, honoring people to report someone? So apparently you need rewards as an incentive to improve the community...

Just make the best out fo the game.

In principle this is a good idea because it could be used to get rid of players who try to hold their team hostage when they don't get what they want...

But practically speaking, players would use this as a 6th champion ban; used primarily to keep teammates from playing something that's different or disliked, even though they they like it and intend to use to win, so they ought to have every right to play it.

i dont get why this is suggested so many times while the counter argument is so simple: yasuo. 99% of yasuos feed like crazy. as soon as i see someone in my team pick yasuo (top) i say gg no tank and feeder and the majority will agree with me.

or for example lucian mid. its a thing right now (ty korea <.<) but some ppl dont know tha t.

I'm not seeing this specify ranked or normals, but this will apply for both. What about premades? It focuses more towards normals and flex, but this sort of system could be easily abused for getting out of a situation you don't like or just farming honor.

Besides, how are you so sure it is a bad pick? Most would see Ivern support (no smite) as a troll pick, but it can work pretty well too. Attack speed Orianna top can be abusive too. I even have had a Vel'koz game where my team tried to tell me he was a bad pick currently, yet I won lane. Something to help protect rank games would be nice, but also restricting. As we saw with the SMite Support cases recently, off meta/weird strats are perfectly viable.
