I just got banned for no appparent reason WTF

So today i was jumpin on league i had a 25 chat game restriction, but i was playing with no toxic remarks BOOOM banned for no reason no idea it just said to check my email and im banned till september 13 it wasnt cause of toxicity i have no clue about what it is about it simply just read out this to my email. If you were banned for chat related reasons, then attempting to log in to the client should provide you with chat logs.

If doing that yields nothing, then I suggest submitting a support ticket (if you haven't already) politely requesting the information regarding your ban. Remember to be patient as it may take awhile to get a response.

This is the dirty secret of the Riot system. You were banned because someone reported you. Maybe they didn't like you, maybe they thought you were bad, heck maybe they accidentally reported you. However, if you were already on a previous restriction, then Riot's automatic system picks up the report and will ban you just based on a report.

They will not give you a reason for the ban. The in game login will tell you that you are banned, however it will not provide chat logs (because there aren't any). it will tell you they sent you an email with the reason why you are banned (they wont actually send an email). You can try to contact support, and they won't give you information, other than point out some things in your history even if it is several weeks before and you were already punished for it.

The system works like this because it is automated, its expensive to hire actual humans so they just have scripts which are free.

Damn dude, i got banned last august for two weeks as well. You won't be super salty until they take away your ranked rewards. I never got my gold border or victorious sivir =/
Good thing im p3 this season and havent even gotten one chat restriction B)
