Flaming is not accepted by Riot

So I recently saw the mini drama between Yassuo and Hash, I saw Yassuo's debate about it I related it back to a chat restriction I had a week ago or so. Long story short: I ended up flaming back at a toxic J4 (P sure the line i got punished for was just telling him to uninstall if hes always so toxic). Now this line seems mundane compared to most toxicity in league, but in reality any sort of flame is not tolerated by riot no matter the circumstance. Yes it sucks, but in reality its just a game, and Riot wants to foster a healthy environment. It does not matter what Hash did, there is 0 excuse for flaming. Hash was not being toxic back (from what ive seen). Also, "The game was already over" is NOT an excuse (thats why I flamed the J4).

Flaming should not be a normalized thing in league. I flame occasionally and quite frankly I shouldn't (usually I only flame back but its just making the situation even worse). We should be making the game more enjoyable for everyone and realize that it is just a GAME.

To my main point, streamers are the icons/image for league. Streamers seem to be able to get away with so much toxicity in game and get away with it for some reason (again, from what ive seen). We should be holding streamers to WAY higher standards than we are now, as they have way more influence on peoples behavior in game than they realize. It is totally unacceptable that streamers in the LPP program, which should be role models for other players, can be toxic like this and not have to worry about it.

Something to keep in mind is observing what the streamer says in game versus what he says on stream. If he's flaming someone on stream, then he's not actually being toxic to anyone in the game. Streamers should of course be held to the same chat standards as everyone else in game and I believe they are as the automated system most likely doesn't differentiate between whether the account in question is a streamer or a regular player.

I was with you until the "streamers are the icons/image of league". I disagree. Streamers are just people who play video games and record/stream it. Anyone can do it. So if i stream my gaming session, im suddenly an icon? The fuck? No. Theyre entertainment for people who enjoy watching people play video games. Its your choice to perceive them as icons. I think of them as some kids who need attention, or are trying to make easy money doing something they enjoy. They could be terrible people for all I know. They should be held to the same standard as every other player.
