So, we can't honor opponent because we can't see their chat
However, the same is true of our own team.
We honor. Then, we go to post-game chat. Our team mates could be incredibly toxic in post-game, and yet, we already honored them and can not take it back.
What if I enter the game and /mute all? I'm not seeing any ones chat. Yet, I'm allowed to honor.
Maybe, separate honors between "played well" and "positive attitude"? Or maybe, honoring opponents is a sign of being honorable yourself? Or maybe, stop giving a shit what people type and start using chat filters and mute buttons. Then, put even a minuscule amount of focus on game play greifing.

Do you plan to replace Honorable Opponent? Enemies can be honorable too! Enemies can definitely be honorable too, but generally when you play League, you chat with your team much more than with the enemy team. You have a better ability to judge how honorable players were on your team than the enemy team, so we wanted teammates to be the focal point of Honor.
