The Unfairness of Riot's Punishing System
I have been playing League of Legends for about 4 years now and have enjoyed most of it. Lately however I have been feeling a little short-ended by riot. I have had a long history with the Riot Tribunal system, receiving multiple punishments over the years, from as minor as queue bans to a 2 week ban last season. The ban last season was when my issues started, because aside from a 2 week ban and a 52 game chat ban, they also took away the season rewards for me. Now this in of itself was not that big of a deal, but what upset me was that Riot felt the need to punish me again for something that had happened months prior. This is the same theme of my most recent chagrin with them, as after not afking for a decent while, yesterday i was unable to connect to a league game. I restarted my client and then eventually my computer, but was still unable to connect. The message i received was that I should check my internet connection, but I was fully able to go on youtube and other sites without any problem. After finally giving up on League I left it for the night, but when I came back today I got a message saying i was queue banned. After going afk for one game not of my own volition i had a 20 minute queue timer for five games. Now i know this is not the default punishment for queue banned, so i can only assume that I am again being punished for past mistakes. This does punishment does nothing to "reform" me, as most of the times now I only go afk when it is out of my control, and so such a harsh punishment seems unfair. I am not asking for this queue ban to be removed, nor would i expect it to, but i would appreciate if Riot Games would take into account time from last punishment and other factors before handing out punishments.
