Banned due to Overwolf products

Hey riot, before we start off and get the web based one banned too, i want to say i am so sorry that i used overwolf products that may have altered the game in any way, i had no idea what so ever that they could do that, if i had known that i would not have used them, i thought they were ok due to a paid advert on youtube and some people like redmercy and Virkayu who recommended some produces from overwolf that gave me a false idea of what these apps do, because i wasnt trying to cheat malicously and after i noted that my games began to run slow because of the apps i uninstalled the apps about some months ago recently, but some of the apps feautres remained on my client, i swear i had no ill intent and i will do what ever it takes to clear those suspisions out, i have sent a ticket yesterday when i first found the ban, i want to talk peacfully about this and hopfully resolve this issue, i love this game to its very core (yes even teemo) and i dont want to be removed for misunderstanding what overwolfs products did, ive been with you guys since season 2 or 3 and i would love to keep with you guys for many more seasons. again i am deeply sorry for seemingly taking that trust from you guys without meaning to, i hope to hear soon to see if we can resolve this matter

ADDENDEM i was hacked it seems, so while overwolf is not the cause, i am still not at fault due to someone who was using my account to boost a friend up

Yeah it's definitely not cause of Overwolf. I've used it for a long time and not had any issues. It was likely something else.

Submit a support ticket, they may consider a unbanning. But I know they are stickler for third party programs... even ones that just change voice lines (which is stupid asf). So good luck!

Nobody ever got banned for using Overwolf,same goes for you.Either you were toxic or you used 3rd party app.People have been using Overwolf for a long time and have been rewarded for using it,with Riot's approval. So stop with your bs and enjoy the vacation.

Might want to check your match history.

Obviously I can't claim for sure, but your last two games look like it was by a different person. You almost never touch ranked mode but suddenly your account played 2 matches on champions that you've never played and queued with a person that you've never played with.

If these were not you then you need to tell support that your account was compromised.

Yeah, never use third party apps like that, especially when it gets sponsored by a crushed beer can. And if something is still on the computer after you uninstalled it, then that means you have some malware on your computer and it's time for a purge and resetting all of your passwords.

And don't ever use third party apps without doing some real hard research into it and scanning it to within an inch of its life. If you get even so much as one malware notification about it, blacklist it.

Overwolf is not cheating software, it is a well-known (but shitty) communication tool. There is no reason it would have been flagged or resulted in a ban.

Yeah that sucks man. Good luck with support. (I havent looked through the whole thread so idk if its resolved now but GL anyway)
