Permanantly Banned

I purpose that when an account is permanently banned (for "toxic" behavior only) they are placed in a queue of a different kind. This new queue would not be to join a match but to wait in line to plead to the community for a "sponsor". I furthermore purpose that the highest 1%-10% of well behaved players (perhaps those with ribbons) be granted an opportunity to work one on one with said player as a "sponsor". The system I suggest would work of the following premise. If a good behaved player wishes to adopt a player who was permanently banned (one apprentice at a time) the permanently banned player could only be allowed to queue when there "sponsor" is available to play and host's the game. I reason that a player who understands the system and is behaving well has a much higher chance to reform a player than an automated message saying you were reported. Finally if a "sponsor" and a permanently banned player successfully play "x" games together without incident the player is moved one behavior tier towards reform and allowed to play on their own again. Finally if after "x" games/months the reformed player goes without further incident the aforementioned "sponsor" would receive a mystery skin or maybe a unique icon to recognize their contribution to making the League of Legends a better place for everyone (both the good and the bad).

A great test of a society is to look at how they treat the lowest among them, with a little compassion and guidance from those doing well I see no reason why we can't all get along.

Those scholars among us please feel free to elaborate on my idea and add or remove anything that might make it more likely to succeed. This is meant to be a rough draft at a new type of reform, not a final completed idea.

No way I'd help a toxic troll...

Give me a banhammer...I'd dole it out w/o pride or prejudice and in absolute fairness.

They have already tried the Prisoner Island approach.

It failed.

Although this is a romantic approach to the problem it doesn't work since having toxic people playing with other toxic people causes something that we call a positive feedback loop where this simply compounds the problem. Also sponsorship are a terrible idea although once again a romantic proposition. Really I am a positive influence on the community do I really want to play with the toxic people.
