Death Threats holding substance

So I encountered a player yesterday that got mad at my teams singed and started going off on him but I defended the singed because honestly we were all just trying to have fun and I hadnt seen an issue with anything that was done, however, thats when said player began to make threats to dox and share all of my private info on the "deep web" and made statements such as "I am going to watch you and your family get ****ing killed and Ill love every minute of it" now normally, I would just pass this off as a tilted player barking to vent, but things got serious when they actually posted a link that can only be accessed using a deep web compatible browser such as Tor, I didn't manage to memorize or screencap the link but I would like to know if it would at all be possible for the chat transcript or more specifically the link that was posted in it, could be shared back to me so I may check to see if my life really has been put in real danger. I submitted a ticket already but something like this isn't really a matter that I can wait around for more than a day for answers.

Just some kid (around 12-14) threatening you, riot considers this sort of behavior more acceptable than literally being a jackass in chat, like it’s fine for someone to threaten you and say that they will personally slice your throat etc.. but when I make a reference to scary movie 4 then I get a 14 day ban for xenophobic messages lol

Your life isn't in danger, anyone can download tor, you don't need a computer science degree to do it. This is just some mentally challenged teen having a fit. Do what it takes to make sure he is permabanned though, keep insisting with support that he has to be banned. You reported him in addition to opening the ticket I suppose ?

OP, if you feel threatened, then you absolutely must go to the police with this. I hope that you and your family are safe. Hopefully, you can return back to let us know how things turned out. Remember! Its better to be safe than sorry.

League doesn't allow client-to-client communication. It's all mediated by Riot's servers. Therefore, unless this person has hacked Riot's servers, they can't see any detail about you or your machine (unless a Riot employee is helping them, which feels unlikely). At best they can DDOS Riot's servers or something like that, but meh that doesn't affect you in isolation.

However, you should probably submit a support ticket so that Riot takes action.

It's obvious, a lot of people have already said it, but I still feel it's important enough to be said again: You're most likely safe, if you don't feel safe, talk to the police about it.

Now, regarding the chatlogs: This didn't by any chance happen in allchat? Because if so you can just watch the replay from your match history. There's sometimes a problem with seeing all chat in replays, but that can be fixed by just changing the settings to not display allchat, then switch it back again.

What was the link he posted? Also should never open any files someone links, unless you know the site it's linking to.

Get used to it, not changing in this shitty ass community.

That basically turned into a "Good morning dear sire" on a daily basis to me at this point.

I'd say maybe half of the people who go on the outer layers of the deep web are probably just there out of curiosity, for some black market stuff and the like. Don't worry too much about it, if you feel very worried you can contact non-emergency 911.
