Is it really that hard to just not type?

imo there should be an option Pre-Game to close your own chat...

There's two fairly big issues with this idea; first and foremost, Riot does not want to encourage players to stifle their own ability to communicate in League. As a teamwork-focused game, communication is a pretty big part of League, and having players effectively able to silence themselves and heavily dampen communication is not good for the game in general.

Second, the whole idea hinges its effectiveness on a player being conscious of their own negativity/toxicity. And, by and large, the target audience does not fit that descriptor.

Case and point...

now its ban for nothing...

You think you were banned for no good reason. If that's how you see it, then how would you know that you should be muting yourself? You see no issue in your behavior, so you'd have no cause to assume that Riot would punish you for it. Barring your claims about your punishment being suspect in general, this is one of the biggest factors that serves as a drawback to the idea.

At the end of the day, if you don't want to get punished for negative chat, just don't put negativity into the chat.

Pardon my skepticism, but I sincerely doubt that was all you got punished for. If you want to discuss your punishment, you should provide your chat log(s) here for peer review. Otherwise, I'm inclined to take this assertion with a grain of salt.

There should be an option to cripple team communication? I don't think so.

Don't need a chat block option. Because 80% of this game's playerbase has anger issues and need to learn some self restraint. Instead of just choosing their next words carefully, they instead lash out at someone on their team or the enemy team and end up getting banned. And then they wanna come here and complain about why they got banned. Just stop it, you know why you got punished. Riot gives players a two week ban for a reason, to reflect on their actions. But instead of taking the 2 weeks like a champ, they instead make a new account and get banned on that one because they can't live without their daily dose of league.

also i said an option you guys dont have to do that I want to do that so i wont talk with these kind of people its not worth it specially in low elo games ping is more than enough chatting is overrated and i want to stop it and i do get tilted from what people saying and i answer I know i shouldn't but still

Thinking that a champion is cancer does not get you banned. There must be more to it ;)

If your ban was unjustified, Rito revokes the ban, so if you are sure you didn't deserve it, submit a ticket (and then 3-4 more, since most of the support workers are just mindless bots)

There were multiple solutions posted on the forum for a self-mute option, you can look them up if you want (those work for in-game). Also blocking an IP on your firewall disables the pre-game chat as well (you can also look that up).

That's the point .. sometimes you just can't get along with these animals and while you spend time explaining the enemy team farms or kills you wherever they see you .. should be there an option to self mute .. it really would improve the game .. I got a 10 game chat restriction.. I was happy that I had no way to even bother to type in chat .. now after 1 week I got 14 day suspension .. next will be permaban so yeah . It will really help that self mute option
