Blocking players

So after playing a few games in ranked where trolls basically fed the whole game and refused to take the teams advice, I got pretty frustrated and wanted to just block that person so I would never play with them again. Come to find out that blocking only prevents them from ever messaging you or adding you as a friend. So why hasn't riot implemented a process where you could block players? I would much rather wait longer in queue as the game tries to find players who actually play the game, if it means I can prevent myself from playing games where a player is known for simply trolling. Instead I am held hostage and forced to play a game where its no fun for anyone but the troll and the apposing team. I know other games have implemented this before so it can be done. So RIOT, please! please! please! consider this. We are fed up with the trolls.

Because it would murder high elo and be manipulated.

That could be really bad for higher ques in stuff like masters and challenger. People would just block anyone else that plays their role so they always get it or something similar. It could make d1+ ques over an hour. And in lower ranks like gold unless I que up right after I dont ever get the same player twice.

It is a nice idea but like others have said, queue times would be crazy at high ELO and it would be abused.

That said, I do think the system should check to see if you reported that person in the last five games you played. So you would not have to have trolls you already reported and moved on from back in your games.

What is dead may never die...is something no one ever said about old threads. Since this thread's been White Walker'd, I'm locking it (due to it's old age).
