When you can report someone for asking you to "stop being a douche and help" and they get a chat restriction ban. Yet you can literally say im inting in chat and then int, get reported and nothing happens. Fix the reporting process to be actually useful instead of a system that punishes people when feelings get hurt.
The two issues are completely separate.
It's like saying "omg one murder occurred so it's wrong i was caught for speeding/drunk driving/whatever" - it's not, you just got caught breaking the rules.

I have reported people for doing just that, and got an IFS feedback popup, so this is not true.
Well.. that is not a very nice thing to say to someone..
How about..
"Hey my friend.. we could really use your help over here!"
I can promise you that this one will not lead to chat restriction, and also conveys the same message without being vulgar and rude..
first we need to address the problem of the broken report system then we can fix it. right now its autmated when we need a manual process to review soft inters based on merit not an automated system that looks for algorithms, the algorithms can be wrong and SOMEONE, preferably a high rank player should be able to submit their vote to submit a punishment
The issues are not seperate lol. The fact is the main thing that ruins this game are trolls. people who get into a game that intentionally feed or pick a sometihng like veigar jungle then feed. Riot is not doing its end on punishing these types of players.
