Have you all seen the new "/All Chat"? At about 00:31 Phreak clearly says "Wrong set, dumbasses", then he goes on to say "God, F*cking idiots".

I found that part to be pretty funny, but i don't understand how they're okay with it. Coming from a company that allows reports for saying someone is "terrible", this is extremely hypocritical. I'd just like for them to accept that, people aren't automatically toxic raging flamers for simply saying something like "wow, you really did bad".

I understand that phreak isn't serious, but they're clearly being toxic whether they wanted to be or not. Whats even worse is how phreak is saying that from his position above the others. I know it was just a scene in /all chat, but they're showing how they feel about using words like those. Only when it comes to playing online, those words are suddenly taboo.

If i quoted phreak and posted it in a game, then id be banned so fast. Does that help explain my point?

Its not about using those words, its about trying to hurt other person using them. If its staged, it doesnt harm anyone. They dont punish for words, they punish for intention.

You can report someone for anything, doesn't mean Riot actually listens to them.

Yes you MIGHT get punished if you called someone a dumbass in game because you are talking to a complete stranger. You can't talk to complete strangers how you talk to your friends. Its not hypocritical at all its a completely different situation in a completely different context.

What you are basically saying that if I call my friend an asshole in a joking way that I'm a hypocrite if I get mad at a complete stranger who calls my friend a douchebag. Do you see how that is completely illogical?

but when he cast esports, he says that players are killing themselves all the time so .. uhh .. who knows.
