btw: everyone saying "reports for sexism do something" proof it. i brought proof of a person saying women have no right to speak and he isnt banned. this is proof. now you proof me that it is in fact doing something. you cant just go around and say "you are wrong i am right" without proofing it. thats what idiots like that warwick did lol. if you are like that warwick, then you are a major reason why this community is so toxic.

First off, I'm sorry you had to deal with that behavior, and it is in no way acceptable behavior.

Unfortunately, this falls into that same hard-to-detect category as a lot of racism or homophobia but avoids the use of trigger words. On the game with the scale of League it is sadly not possible to get human eyes on every report case, nor is it possible to build an AI that will immediately and accurately detect every case of racism, sexism, homophobia, or encouragement to self harm.

As a result this behaviour, while definitely extremely problematic, often takes a lot longer to see a punishment on then would be ideal. It is, sadly, basically a limitation of the available technology in the report system.

I personally encourage you to send a ticket to player support. I don't honestly know if they're allowed to intervene with the automated punishment system in cases like this, and I know they will be unable to tell you if they take action against this particular player do to their privacy policy, but that's going to be the best way to ensure that human eyes see this specific case, and I think that's a good thing due to the weaknesses in the automated detection system when dealing with issues like this.

I don't see anything wrong here. The guy was just being humorous. How sad that this modern society is so thinned skinned, that practically anything a person says is offensive. I'm glad this is only an American thing. I wouldn't want to live in a world infected with PC madness.

How do you know he wasnt chat restricted though? At least you have to wait for a manual review on this though, because the ifs only bans on specific triggers, to which none of his specific words applied. Im pretty sure sexism like this is instantly bannable, but you cant detect it based off of a string of words like this without common sense, which a bot wont readily have.

Also on a side note though, not a single person here said its OK to tell this to a female.

I don't think I've heard of anyone claiming all sexism gets caught by the IFS. If not caught by the IFS, then it needs a manual review. If this was the only line like this in the chat, then it might not be enough to get them punished on its own or it may only result in a chat restriction.

I agree, not cool behavior, but also completely separate from PAX (unless you've had someone say this to your face at a PAX before).

Sexism is currently not part of the ZT system. So people won't get instant banned for it.

It will contribute to the ML part of the system, but without knowing the behavioral history of the other player, it's impossible to say that he deserves a punishment from that game alone.
