I got a permanent ban and i believe it is unfair and this is why

I believe the system of banning people for toxicity is really unfair. Toxicity is something that we see in every game and not just video games but also professional sports it is something that is a part of the game. Obviously league of legends is not a sport for many and is not seen as a professional sport, the audience is very different. The league of legends community can be said is mostly a younger audience which is why i understand being extremely against toxicity and enforcing very strict consequences but there are already many ways to prevent this such as the muting system, chat restrictions, and even the muting of pings. One of the reasons toxicity is also looked at as one of the biggest issue in league is because it is said that it ruins player's experience and i agree to certain extent that it does. But if toxicity really ruined peoples experience then we all already have the choice to mute that toxic person to avoid our experience from getting ruined so with that said,is it really the typing in chat which ruins the experience or is it that one person that decides to feed and causes one person to get triggered and flame the feeder which leads to a very toxic game. I believe that "toxic" players such as myself don't just log on to league and think " lets go flame some people" from personal experience i know that the extreme toxicity is triggered by a player that has a bad game and starts feeding more specifically in ranked games and there are also those that just are complete trolls. I have seen players that choose to mute me when i get toxic and it works perfectly I'm basically talking to myself and at the end of the game everyone moves on. I believe they're are many other ways to handle toxicity other than resulting in a permanent ban because i love this game i have spent so much money and it sucks losing it just because you have really bad ranked games and you get toxic. A system that could work is maybe having an option to purchase an unban for a high price to have sort of a learn your lesson, it could be a one time thing if you get banned again that's it or it could also be a system where the more bans you get the higher the price gets and if that player wants to continue spending money just buy an unban then eventually the price will be to high now i don't believe anyone would ruin that second chance because it really sucks losing an account after putting so much money in to it. The reason why chat restrictions and other punishments prior to the perm ban "don't work" is because toxicity will always exist because it comes natural with anything that is competitive.

Thank you for reading this and i hope that maybe we can be given a second chance in some sort of way.

I got banned after one game in ranked being really toxic. Obviously i had another 2 week ban and chat restrictions prior to this because you don't just get instantly permanently banned. I feel like there are many more steps that can be taken before resulting to a permanently ban especially for players that have been playing longer so that people can actually learn or avoid being toxic which is very hard in a competitive environment.

The ban is fair because on your 14 day ban report card it CLEARLY said that the next offence will lead to an permanent ban

You knew the rules and did it anyway.

It's fair because it's done to every toxic player.

Plus it's a good thing that rude players lose everything. You'll be careful next account, if there will be one.

Definitely agree. Verbal toxicity should not be bannable since there is a mute button, it's a competitive game, and most toxicity is provoked

Toxicity is something that we see in every game and not just video games but also professional sports it is something that is a part of the game.

This is true, but the consequences in every video game and sport for toxicity are severely punished as well in particular as it applies to players of the sport. What happens when you trash talk a referee in Football or Soccer? Yeah, you get a penalty or get ejected from the game. The fact that it happens, does not mean anyone should be ok with it and the tolerance for these things is getting shorter and punishments more severe because it has absolutely no place in competitive E-Sports or Sports.

We play E-Sports to compete, not to listen to some man child run his mouth.

I mean, you kind of can get a second chance. and a third, and a fourth lol. You can make all the accounts you want, so unlimited chances!

This isnt an excuse but i believe if riot chooses to make a consequence such as a perm ban i believe they should make it really clear not those essay paragraphs that you dont read. this isnt an excuse its just my fault i guess for not reading the rules but i honestly also never noticed the part of being perm banned after the 14day suspension. The 14 day ban i had was 2 months prior to this one so how long do you have to play before you cant make one little mistake in one game...

You know, you literally just stated the solution to your own argument. You argue that if someone is being verbally toxic, those being flamed have the option of "muting" and moving on. Well it's the same for you. If someone is griefing, trolling or inting your games, you can just control your emotions, ignore them and move on. I don't see the justification in your reaction when those condemned by your behaviour are unhappy and decide to report you.

This is why you must learn to respect a policy when you agree to it. You're in the minority when it comes this because you're that one very very small percent of players who comes to this board and complains about their ban and the system. That percent is less than 1%. That's because other players are playing the game as it was meant to be played. Because they will not or have not yet been going against the agreement.

Please realize, when I say you're the minority, that 1%, those are the plays who are banned by the same players you played with and did not enjoy your company. That is a lot of players reporting you for the exact same reason. Because you as a player is too toxic to enjoy the game with. You are the discarded player that THE COMMUNITY and THE COMPANY do not want playing their game.

So why on earth would anyone within the 1% of the population of players that are not welcome here be given chance to be privileged to spiteful, hateful, and inflammatory to the rest of the 99%?

The Company and the Community do not care about the 1%. The 1% has to make a new account just to get it banned again. That 1% is endlessly fighting that their ego cannot let go or their self-control cannot handle what the other 99% of players can do. This is why the system will continue to ban the 1% just so the other 99% can get a decent game in a day or so.

So be part of the other 99% and be part of the game. Don't be that 1% of players who cannot comprehend the purpose of entertainment, that thing we call the problem that we try to rid of every day.

Every game will have one team doing worse than the other team, and every team has someone who's doing the worst out of everyone on that team. There's no practical benefit to flaming that person, it's rude, and there's nothing forcing people to flame that person other than a complete lack of self control. If you didn't want to lose the account, you should've followed the rules. Offering what amounts to a season pass to be toxic is a terrible idea; frankly, the notion that it's okay for people with spare cash to be rude is offensive in and of itself. Toxicity only comes naturally to some people, and they get banned, as you have discovered.

You got a second chance. Actually, you got four chances. Riot just didn't feel like giving you a fifth chance. Asking for a second chance sounds like you only broke the rules once, when that's not the case.

Riot tried including several more punishment tiers, stacking chat restrictions, etc., and none of it worked. People who got more than a few punishments without improving ended up continuing their toxic behavior regardless of how many more punishments they got, and people with what amounted to a permanent chat restriction ended up being toxic in other ways, like feeding.
