How to deal with flaming

So, after getting permabanned and actually took a 90 day or so break, I made another account, but also It took me some time to reflect. Anger started to seep into the family and job, Military life you could literally just be an angry jerk with little blow back as long as it was to the right people, however, its not correct.

So, here I am trying to help others that may be on the same path as I was, angry gaming or saying wrongful things out of pure ignorance just to get a rise out of someone or to put them down. Others may disagree with the passiveness, but honestly if you deeply look at the issue, what are you protecting? You're digital pride? some sort of unseen code of honor? Not worth the permaban seriously.

IF you feel yourself talking more smack the past few games, STOP, take off the all chat and mute your team mates if you start to see them flaming at you. And go about your business...Honestly its what, 30-40 minutes of you day or however long you spend...dealing with a loss, is that really going to hurt you in any way possible? If your the type that comes home and perhaps one game is all you have, and you want that game to be PERFECT, you dont mind a loss, you just want a clean game...Well wake up, that may not happen every game, sometimes you have to accept that not every game will be a good one.

Talking back to someone that is flaming at you, what does that do? Sure it gratifies that instant satisfaction of "Ha, got you" but usually in my past games, I stopped and thought, "Man...could of handled that better, probably going to get banned soon..." then your stuck thinking and worrying and your next game probably be distracted, and it rolls downhill from there..

So, if you find yourself doing this, just stop playing a game or two, sounds simple enough but alot of people won't do this, they'll continue playing and get more heated, then before you know it, the time you wanted to use this game for, as far as relaxing goes is now wasted, Have any questions or scenarios you want to throw at me feel free. Every day I'll post ways to deal with different things, flaming is just a big and perhaps one of the few issues. Tomorrow, will be Trolling! Leona

Just mute if that specific person isn't saying anything constructive and only serves to hinder you from reading what others are saying.
