This seriously triggered a ban?

Preface: No, none of these logs were edited. Didn't AFK in either of these games.

context of game 1: I create a level 30 alternate account to learn new champions in a ranked setting. This particular game, I choose Renekton. As the lane starts, I realize I made critical mistakes in my rune choices and summoner spells, and I tell my teammates I'm done trying.

I'm still farming, I'm not inting, and I still participate in ganks, but I don't bother looking at the map or bother doing objectives. I just sit top all game and wait for the game to end. The game ends and my stats are 7.1 cs, 1/4/1, and 'average' damage. I'm not using derogatory language, and I'm not even being hostile towards my teammates. No spam pings. However the same teammates that triggered my banned were literally telling me to 'shut the fuck up' and calling me 'fucking r%%%%%ed'. Because I wasn't petty enough to report them,%%%%%the one who's supposed to get banned?

context of game 2: Our jungler Nidalee comes top and she never leaves my lane. She sits in brush for literally 2-3 minutes waiting for Teemo to overextend. She ends up dying and as a result I'm two levels down. As Renekton. Again, no spam pings, no harsh language (besides leeched), and this time I had good stats.

How are these games a reportable offense?

Game 1: as you found out, yes, you can get banned for not trying. Someone who runs into the other team on purpose is committed to losing. When you sat top and farmed without otherwise participating, you too were committed to losing. You also called for reports, harassed, argued, etc., clogging up the chat with negativity.

Game 2: spent the entire time harassing your teammate.

WTF man. Always try. It doesn't matter how badly you screwed up. You owe it to your team to try to win until they vote to surrender.

Why's that?

You blatantly admitted to giving up, said you were going to report your teammate, harassed your support over their rank, and harassed your team in the 2nd game as well. You can give constructive criticism without belittling someone.

I stopped reading the logs after the "feel like afking" line.

If I was on your team I would have muted you right there and reported for negativity after the game.

The fact that you are arguing with everyone here doesn't change the fact that you broke the summoner's code in chat.

You need to check your ego and figure out how to deal with your anger or else you will end up with a permanent ban.

Punishment deserved.
