Why do so many people not learn after being permabanned?

I just had a Olaf in my NORMAL game who constantly flamed me (the jungler) trough the entire. Only because I didn't gank a lane he permapushed. He called me a retard, trash. He asked me how I could live my life being so bad, etc etc. He never stopped. I asked him how many punishments he has recieved prior to the one he's gonna get now (hehe). He said permabanned (which I believed, as he wasn't in so high level and not many games played in ranked).

Why do people not learn after getting permabanned? They got their primary account completely shut down, and they will never get access to it again, but they still behave bad on their new accounts? I don't get it. This has happened so many times.

Its not that they don't "learn",they just don't give a shit

Because they don’t see a problem with their behavior. Instead they see a problem with everyone else for not letting them be toxic.

They already lost the account they cared about, and now they don't have even the slightest reason to hold back.

  1. They don't care.
  2. They justify it. ("They flamed me first!")
  3. They think it makes them seem tough, probably because they are weak in real life.
  4. They enjoy it on some sad, twisted level.
