My favorite is the "reformed" players who are pretending to be nice saying shit like "wow, nice play Ashe!" right after Ashe died or something

Thats actually how Ive started viewing it. I just laugh and keep playing. Although I have been known to say "Thanks for the entertainment. My TV is broken and I can't watch Comedy Central. Although I think you're more amusing!"
I, too, have noticed a sudden spike in shit talking and other "not playing the game" related fuckery.
My guess is it's people stressing about not reaching whatever rank they think they should be in.
