Hello guys, few days ago i got 14 day suspension because of abusive, player reported comms. im really want to show you my side at the story and the misunderstanding. I am a person who has been playing for over 6 years in the game with a lot games honors.

in game i was wrote silly things but did not hurt anyone. and i I thought the lore between lucian and thresh in the story was that thresh had imprisoned son of lucian and killed his boy.

you can see clearly that I did not meant to hurt and even talked about other things with laughter and i entered from the perspective of thresh and started to speak in its place

more over, I think my punishment was too harsh and I think it was not particularly justified when I did not keep talking about the subject during the game.

PUNISHMENTS GENERALLY FOLLOW A BASIC ESCALATION PATH: First Offense: 10 Game Chat Restriction Second Offense: 25 Game Chat Restriction Third Offense: Two Week Suspension Fourth Offense: Permanent Suspension However, it is possible to skip to a Two Week or Permanent suspension based on the severity of the behavior in the game. Excessive negative behavior can result in a Two-Week or Permanent suspension at any time without having a chat restriction on the account.

what can i do to get relief from punishment for misunderstanding?

I checked the case and I'm sorry but the suspension will need to stand. You went way too far threatening to kill anyone's son for whatever reason. You never clarified why you said such a thing and kept going even when, as per your own admission, the other player asked you to stop even threatening you with a ban.

I'm sorry but even if you were just roleplaying, you shouldn't ever say something like that as it's easy to misunderstand for anyone who's not in on the joke. Since you never clarified, that other player never had a chance of understanding your threat, real or not, as anything other than a threat.

To clarify: Please do not do this again even if you tell the other player that you're just roleplaying - this is not okay! Keep things friendly and make jokes but stop when it comes to serious topics like this!

The suspension was correctly applied. This exactly one of those cases where we can skip the regular penalty path - wishing/threatening harm on another player or their loved ones is completely forbidden in League, for any reason.

Thresh doesn't have a kid, not based off of what his lore and story say. He was a warden, ordered to protect a vault of ancient magical artifacts that slowly drove him mad, until the Isles were struck by the Ruination disaster and everyone on them became undead, at which point he became Thresh.

You saying you're going to kill his son isn't a lore joke.

The thing is, the system doesn't care about context, and some players have weaker mental, who might get offended by these type of speeches even if it wasn't aimed at them. Next time you think something like this is funny I suggest you keep it to yourself, especially now that you got a 14-day ban if you act negative even the slightest it might result in a permaban.

Meh. I think Riot fucked up BIG time here, there is a line that need to be drawn. That was clearly a in lore JOKE, consider it like a serious "death threat" is REALLY stupid.

the real problem is that ppl now days are a bunch of snowflakes. everything is offensive and you cant say he/she without offending someone somewere .. entire world has become weak and usless in so many ways. its sad really

Probably should have read the lore correctly before talking about it but honestly, you don't deserve this ban.
