Playing While High or Drunk Shouldn't Be Bannable

If someone is drunk or high in your games, let the player be. Report the player silently if you consider it a problem. If it really bothers you then go ahead and let the player know that it bothered you. However, chances are that the game will be more enjoyable all around compared to most games. I regularly get more honors while high than I do while sober. Ive played league while high, I've played it while drunk, I've done both at once. Let me tell some of you, who do not have the experience, what it is like to play league while Inebriated.

High: Ranked is fine. Your mechanics improve. Your decisions come quickly. You're relaxed and in control of your actions. Everything is hilarious, you're practically impervious to tilt. I've noticed no matter how much I smoke, this applies.

Drunk: Depends how drunk but don't play ranked. If you're buzzed, then you might make it through norms or arams ok. If you're drunk enough to fall out of your chair, then playing LOL is nearly impossible. You can't click anything accurately. Sometimes you might lose track of your character.

Both: Just don't do it, it's not even that fun.

Tldr: League is easier while high, and harder while drunk. Don't rage at your teammates for doing drugs. If you consider it a problem report them. Just do your best to have fun with your team, and it'll likely be any enjoyable experience for everyone.

And how would there be any way that the game can know if anyone is inebriated while playing? USB breathalyzer tied into the game and anyone over .08 can't launch the client?

Are you trying to imply that marijuana improves reaction time and improves motor functions? Because there no research to support that, rather the contrary. But don't take my word for it: https://www.nature.com/articles/1301068

Shouldn't be bannable, but would explain a lot of my teammates' behaviour. :)

Is it bannable? I've played high/drunk hundreds of times. Never so much as received a chat restriction for it.

TIL I guess.

But you are under the assumption that everyone deals with drugs or alcohol the same way? Everyone is different and just because some people play better, doesnt mean every single person who does it will be under the same effect. How about just play the game to the point where it doesnt hinder you and your teammates!

I consider substance abuse to the point it hinders your ability to play the game assisting the enemy team. Furthermore most of the time these people are 10 times more likely to snap over a single comment or error so they fall under negative attitude, and eventually verbal abuse.

you wanta get high or drunk and play a game. Go play portal 2 . It is fun as hell. but don't come up in my team's game of league and ruin it because you are irresponsible, and too ignorant to know your own limits...

They don't drug test to play LoL. What are they going to do? Hook one of those breathalyzer things up to your PC and ban you from ranked if you're over the limit?
