Riot literally does not care about their community

I'm sure riot knows that 99% of their player base is, literally, the most toxic community known to man. This being said, why is nothing done? People constantly abuse others in so many different ways and Riot does nothing. Sure, there's an algorithm, AKA riot does nothing. I've been playing for a very long time and over the course of this awful journey, I've become more and more mentally exhausted from playing this game purely because of the community. I'd love to play the game, I just can't deal with being told to kill myself constantly, or that I suck, or that I'm a pussy, or whatever else you can think of. I literally can't go more than two games without getting verbally abused. It doesn't help to be able to mute someone, because they are still going to talk shit and everyone else is going to see it. These people who are abusing others literally stop playing the game as a team. They intentionally avoid helping you if they don't like you. The worst part is, there's nothing you can do about this. If you report them, all you can say is that they verbally abused you and then the terrible algorithm will just look at their messages in chat. I'm a good person and I usually stand up for other people or try to defend myself because we are all playing a video game, which is typically to HAVE FUN. Especially in a normal game, not even a ranked game. Unfortunately, this just brings more attention to me and then they abuse me. Sure, I could just not say anything and try to get through unnoticed. But think about that last statement. I shouldn't have to be afraid that I'm going to be bullied when I just want to play a game I enjoy after a long day. It really is too bad. There's a lot of potential in LoL and it truly is a shame that Riot allows their community to behave the way they do, and even intentionally foster toxicity. This is the environment that Riot has made and they seem to be perfectly happy with it.

It's not okay to call people autistic because they do something you don't like in game. Those two are not related whatsoever and the people who say that are ignorant to what it really means to be autistic. Once again, Riot encourages players to be toxic and to bond over toxicity. When they had Phreak as the game announcer, he would say "Reee" which was a reference to the internet trend "autistic screeching". Riot isn't dumb and they are perfectly aware that they are encouraging the use of autism as an insult. Personally, I don't think that's appropriate for a company to be supporting. While this doesn't personally offend me, I'm aware enough to know that you don't use mental disabilities as an insult.

While this is just one of the issues with the community, I think it's obvious to everyone else that the community is almost unbearable unless you're able to completely block other people out. Riot is aware and they just don't care. It's just how things are.

Okay. This is one of those big pet peeves of mine.

Have you ever met a Rioter? Have you ever actually talked to them? Have you ever visited Riot HQ?

I've done all of those things, and I didn't encounter a SINGLE person who wasn't super invested in making the best game and the best community they can. You can say they're not succeeding, or not getting results fast enough, or that you don't like the direction they're taking, but to say they don't care is not only blatantly and laughably untrue, but also an insult to the dedicated and hard-working people who make and support this game.

Additionally, calling someone autistic IS punishable, and it is RELIABLY punished. It just may not result in IMMEDIATE punishment, and it may not give you an alert that the punishment went out.

And the other 314% fail at statistics. 666% of those like to make shit up.

it's like this:

Riot: "you are being toxic so we'll have to penalize you" player: "i'll buy this new skin you released" Riot: "we didn't see anything"

I would argue that 1% of the community is both extremely toxic and extremely vocal, rather than 99% being toxic.
