I dunno how to respond to

I got a chat restriction but in the chat logs all it lists is my comments, it does not show what i was responding to any potential harassment or trolling i endured it just shows me responding to it or ranting? Even if i agreed that my behavior was inexcusably horrible which i do not, i have a much harder time figuring out where i went wrong without the context of each game.

I looked at some of the chat logs from others in these forums and they have people cussing others out and insulting them with really harsh words. I didn't do that. I like to think in most of my games I'm nice and help out my team but apparently that doesn't matter if you ever mess up. What does matter is your mistakes not your accomplishments. I find it odd that a system is in place that will punish you if you make a few mistakes without taking any of the good you do into account.

I would like to mention in every game in that log i was antagonized, trolled, or harassed for a good portion or all game. It becomes very frustrating when you are trying to learn this game and because most of the others you are matched with are smurfing they just leave the game when its not easy cause its just a a smurf. It is also frustrating as a new player when you are yelled at and harassed by 4 other players for not being a "challenger smurf". I may have to post the chat logs in more than one post as i do not know if there is a character limit on this so if i double or triple post and that upsets you i apologize.

I do understand that calling someone stupid or an idiot or threatening to make someone lose is not ok. But at the same time unless you are doing it all the time getting frustrated a few times should not get you punished. Any system that demands perfection is not a good system.

I would be happy to try and provide context to the best of my memory for any questions that anyone has.

EDIT: I am a new player yelled at constantly i have played like 30-40 total games and i think in two of them i haven't been harassed simply for being new. For not knowing everything, and being a "challenger" smurf like them. The second i get fed up with being told how shit i am and tell others to stuff it i get punished. No wonder 99 percent of new players are called smurfs, like 99 percent of actual new players are never gonna play this game to the point where they get good let alone max level why would anyone put up with a game that promotes punishing victims. I have never seen a community who would literally watch as someone was verbally abused over and over and then call the victim a monster who should be punished for standing up for themselves. Nowhere else anywhere besides this community have i seen so many people so detached from reality. Every single person here who has said no matter how much you are harassed you are not allowed to defend yourself is a terrible person. In a court of law, if you get attacked and defend yourself, you will not get punished because in REALITY, not your safe space, you cant be a dick to someone then complain when you get called one. I bet you all think its absolutely terrible when a thief breaks into someones home and gets shot, when a rapist is beaten by their victim, when a parent abuses their child and the child defends themselves and the victim who rose above their attacker should rot in jail. You are all monsters. Wow no wonder this community is considered one of the worst of any game. I though it was just because it was full of raging assholes! But no you people are why this community is so very bad, you are worse than the people insulting others. You are the reason real progress and improvement cannot exist. You would rather blame victims instead of finding the reason there are so many and fixing THAT problem. Why are so many people harassing others is what should change not people defending themselves.

1: It doesn't matter what was said or what "antagonized you" , your responsible for what your said no matter what other said. 2: You were negative all games, people probably found YOU antagonizing , but that wouldn't give them the right to be toxic to you. This wasn't just not being "perfect" this was being highly negative and you got what you deserved with a chat restriction. 3: Its a chat restriction, improve your negativity or expect worse punishments

in school if 2 kids got in a fight, it doesn't matter who started it, they both get suspended.

Someone's talking shit to you doesn't mean you do it back.

Mute, report, move on.

And you harass people in enough games that you got chat restricted, it's your fault... take responsibility and stop blaming others for your mistakes.

I'm new too Im level 26 Ive had multiple games with trolls and Flamers I just mute and report.

Like come on Dude by replying with the same Hate you're just letting the trolls troll you more. You rage back, they report you, you can report them but they'll probably get away because some of them are smart and won't troll every match.

No one's hating on you for standing up for yourself, If you want to do that IRL then sure, but in this game standing up for your self the way you're doing it = ban.

It's why muting and reporting is the best option with this system which doesn't look at what your teammates or opponents said to you, it only looks at what you said if you were reported.

Sorry but that's how it is, if you can't mute and report when someone is flaming/trolling, you might as well just quit now.

Because you responded to troll/flamer in a same manner doesn't make you better but lowers you to his level, makes you the troll/flamer. Enuff said?

You can't pull the "But he started it" argument with RIOT.. this isn't kindergarden... although it may seem that way sometimes.

The last time i lost my cool was like a year ago when i was playing 4 man premade in a normal game and the 5th guy was trolling us so we gave him a piece of our mind... all i got was a "youve been reported for unsportsmanlike conduct please remember lol is just a game" and that was it.. i took the advice lol client gave me and ive changed maybe you will too

Tho.... the worst ive said is prolly what the hell is wrong with you or fml stop feeding so damn hard
