Riot chat banning

I like how u can get banned for being toxic when players can mute you and not having u flame them but when people say to riot when u are chat banned u cant talk to your team and cant communicate properly they say they dont care about the chat communication and say there are pings to communicate.

So if riot doesnt care about communication whats the point in banning people based on being toxic? by toxic i mean flaming not trolling on feeding because thats the reason a lot of people get chat banned becauce someone trolls or feeds.Toxicity doent effect anything in gameplay and i think riot should do like other games do and let people write whatever they want and not get banned cause of it after all its a game and people get mad when someone doesnt play good or trolls especialy when u get chat banned because u flamed in 2 games

The mute button is there for a reason and in my opinion i think riot forgot about it if someone is toxic and flames u whenever u die u can always mute him if he spam pings you u can mute his pings and all the flame ends so why someone have to get banned because they might had a bad day or someone trolls?

The mute button is there for a reason...

It is there to allow you to avoid toxicity when you encounter it. It is NOT there to enable toxicity by saying that it's not a problem because the mute feature exists. You may have a bulletproof vest, but the problem is still the guy shooting you.

Mute is to stop me from seeing your further harassments in that game.

Ban is for you to stop harming other people.

Let’s say I’m support and you’re mid. You start insulting our jungler. Your insults cause tilt, distraction, or otherwise negatively impact the jungler’s performance.

Explain to me how I, in this situation, can use the mute function to mend my gaming experience.

other games does punish and ban for such things

dota for example will throw you into lp games where you only allowed to play 1 game mode and have to get out from there with winning (the game mode give you 3 random heroes so ya it can fuck up many) and if you keep being toxic you end up with 6 months ban

also the (its just a game) goes both way why the hell are you mad at ppl in a game?for not being good? thats silly of ppl to assume everyone gonna play decently everygame

besides flame does effect gameplay because more often then not i end up with ppls flaming others the whole game and lose focus over their own gameplay or worst trigger someone else so that guy flame back the flamer and both lose focus.
