Why was the honorable opponent button removed?

I have to say that i like the honor system right now. Its a good update to an outdated system. The only thing i dont like is that the "honorable opponent" option was removed. I have opponents sometimes, who really deserve an honor for being sportsmanlike, having a little humility or just playing well and helping me improve. The only time i saw this button being misused was people honoring enemies for giving up and giving them a free game.
