We need stricter punishments for afking

With each season it seems more and more common for players to afk for any multitude of reasons, from "I only had time for a 20 minute match before work today" and "im board. gon watch some wocking ded insted." Get a grip people. It's 2019. There's no excuse to have a flaky connection, and League of Legends isn't just a video game. If you afk'd at your real job you'd be fired. And if you can't run League of Legends, sorry, but just stick to Minesweeper, bud. Today I've literally only played 5 matches and 1 match had an afk player in it, which means that 20% of matches have afk players. That's shocking. I don't afk in 20% of my matches, so what makes you lot think you have the right? It's not a right, it's a privilege, and it's due time that privilege got revoked and you guys got a taste of what being a real gamer means (Hint: It's nothing to do with hitting the X in the top right corner of the window). Wake up, people. You wouldn't put "AFKing from a League of Legends match" on your resume, would you? So what's the logic in ever doing it in the first place? There's no skill, no talent, and nothing impressive in any way shape or form about disconnecting from a LoL match, and you'll learn less in a million matches of disconnecting than you will from playing a single match. I'm not calling for anything unreasonable, just some more meaningful punishments to put the leavers in their place once and for all. Firstly, if you leave and your team loses, everyone on the team should lose the match, but additionally the leaver should lose 11 matches worth of their hidden MMR rating. This is certainly inferior to Battlerite's system, which makes it perfect for the League of Legends community. Leavers are also literally boosting five players by doing so, so all ranked rewards prior should be stripped and they should be barred from playing ranked for the rest of the season. Additionally they should be required to make a public apology and should be awarded a Leaver ribbon for the rest of the season. If this seems too drastic, I also have another solution which is to shadowban players. When they queue up for ranked, make it seem like ranked but it's actually normals and they should be placed in Disqualified IV before the end of the season. These are just a few ideas off the top of my head. I literally have millions of ideas, so hit me up if you're looking to improve the game.

Leavers are the most adjective nouns in the entire place, so if we could get rid of them once and for all then we can accomplish literally anything as a society.

Develop a system that can tell the difference between an uncontrolled d/c and a intentional. Then will talk.
