So why is there nothing being done about it?

So if even the employees are aware of how broken and abusable the automated punishment system is concerning greifing/trolling. How come it's been this way for so long with 0 intention of making any changes. People can run it down lane as much as they want and it will not cause punishment, while they still continue ruining the game for absolutely everyone participating. Every person that says anything towards them are chat banned and the person griefing gets a little satisfactory message saying that the system banned the person they were trolling. Again encouraging the cycle of toxic behavior.

They aren't admitting that it is specifically broken, they are admitting that it isn't perfect. No system can or ever will be. Right now, chat-related punishments are far easier to reliably detect using an automated system, and can be punished more quickly and consistently.

Gameplay related behaviors, unless especially obvious or egregious, is unlikely to be detected by an automated system. Most instances of gameplay related misbehavior still requires a manual review of the games, meaning it takes much, much longer to get through all of the reported games.

Keep in mind that there have been plenty of people on these boards who have been banned for intentionally feeding. A possible reason you don't see as many people complaining here about those punishments, is because it is obvious to them why they were punished, and it would be pointless to try to refute it.

The system's not gonna catch everything. When you see something that looks like someone's doing a good bit to avoid getting hit by the IFS, then you should submit a ticket.

Dude it says right there in the message you put up, that theyre always trying to improve the system. Are you expecting specifics? They arent gonna tell you specifics or anyone for that matter, because then you know... easily abused, exploitable yada yada.

RIP bronze accounts if you make the IFS more sensitive. item 3102
