Wrongly penalized for bringing up winrate.

TLDR; First offense in a couple of years, made a ticket and was told I was penalized for bringing up a players winrate in-game and it was counted as insulting/ taunting the opposing players when I was being told how shit I and my whole team was the whole time (btw the enemy team had a 4 man and since I was reported by all of them I got penalized) and I was told to post here since the customer support team cannot do anything about a automatic ban from a 4-man report and was told to post here.

So, earlier today I had played a wonderful game of league of legends and was penalized for bringing up winrate to a toxic / shit talking opposing 4 man. Just a bit of backround on me, I have one offense on my account and it was a 14 day ban for insulting someone in-game and that was a couple of years ago. Since then I have been solid, no toxicity no raging at teamates just playing for fun and enjoying time with my friends. I feel very wronged in this situation and was told by "support" that they cannot discuss anything in regards to getting this resolved because it was an automatic ban from the 4-man group that reported me and they can't change it and told me to post here so I am doing just that.

During said game, I was playing bot-lane as adc. Before the game started we danced and emoted all in good fun. We had gotten ganked early at level 2 by twitch. Not a word was said from us, the other team said nothing either. Our mid-lane who was Neeko had died early mid and blamed our jungle and gave him a "shit jungle :)" and proceeded to do the famous Enemy Missing ping spam. Neeko went back to lane and died yet again and blamed our jungle again. The other team starting telling us to "stfu" "your trash at the game" "ez %%%%%%s" which is fine whatever let em talk and none of us said anything in response to that. Neeko being the attention seeking man he was, decided he is going to follow me around taking my cs and joining me and my support in my lane wanting a response from me. She didn't get it and I ended up heading towards mid which she followed me into the jungle and i stopped in a bush and she had sat there. So I said screw it and went back bot lane and let her do her thing and be with us. Twitch then ganks bot again at our tower and 1v3 tower dives us because me and my support were low and she let twitch kill us, so we died and I asked if we can report neeko for trolling, to which the twitch responded "Stfu you got tower dove stop crying pussy". So I wanted to check this twitch's stats cause ya'know he must be a god. Nope he was bronze 4 with a 13% winrate. So I said something about it in chat and he got mad and started using profanity and slander cause ya'know defensive personality. Ended up just letting him say what he wants, brought up winrate a couple times when he said I was trash and said GGWP MULTIPLE TIMES trying to de-escalate the situation but they started going as a group until the end of the game.

After the game I had contacted customer support by putting in a ticket about my penalization. When I got my response from the representative, he/she had told me "I do see that you insulted other players, criticized them for their performance, argued with them, and taunted them. This type of behavior did add negativity to your game and the chat restriction was put in place to draw attention to that. I'm sorry to say but with that in mind, the chat restriction was appropriately placed, and I won't be able to remove it from your account." Ok so at this point I am wondering how tf did I insult / taunt someone when all I did was bring up their winrate, so I asked for them to show me where exactly I broke the rules.

He replied and Highlighted some points that I will explain what happened before hand because the rep obviously doesn't know how to check everyones logs.

This was in response to my Neeko saying Jarvan was a "Trash Jungler :)" after she got ganked mid lane and spam pinged for a gank.

Teamate literally saying "Holy shit really????" when I brought up him having a 14% winrate

Honestly, this was just a salt response to opposing twitch saying my mid is better than my jungle.

The punishment is not handed out by the 4 man squad. Its by the Player Support Specialist. They can undo a ban if they see that it was wrongfully handed out but they don't. You're being sent here because they don't want to expend more time in trying to explain what multiple posters will.

So the reason you got punished was primarily this -

Win rate is not an issue here. You can talk about someone's win rate and that's borderline negative if you're bringing it up because its terrible. But its not going to get you a CR! The thing is that Riot only focuses on your logs. They don't care if the other side started it first. They don't care if the other side was a racist, a Nazi or a crazed person spitting curses faster than your dog wags his tail. It sucks but that's the policy. Even if you're retaliating and doing a tit-for-tat, you will be punished as well. So, calling the Neeko 'trash mid' here was the primary reason, OP. The win rate was just a contributing factor.

I'm sorry you had to struggle with a griefing teammate and an obnoxious premade! I hope that they get what they deserve, punishment wise. Next time, mute and report or just play with chat muted. Good luck, OP! [galio-happy]
