To this day I still dont know why admitting I suck, apoligizing for it and keeping team informed that I cant do what they want me to when I do what they tell me to is considered offensive. Only made this thread because Daen wanted me to. Say what you want. It's "Not my job to defend myself" even if Im agreeing with others when they tell me I suck and should uninstall.

Something in particular that Legendary (amazing name by the way) said in his/her final message I think really gets to the heart of why the behavior resulted in a punishment:

"Telling your team a few times that you aren't super great at the game is fine, but when you spend the majority of the game saying you suck over and over what value are you adding to the game experience except making it worse for everyone in the game with you?"

"Doing your own thing is fine, but you have to let your team know and make the effort to cooperate and communicate it to everyone so they are on the same page. When your answer to everything seems to be "I suck", it doesn't really promote any sense of teamwork at all.

The issue with this particular case isn't that what you were saying was offensive, necessarily, but it can easily be viewed as a very negative attitude. Here is your chat log, distilled down to the points that are distinctly negative or self defeating:

Out of 60 total lines of chat, 13 of them were not directly negative. This means that 78.3% of your chat logs are what's shown above, and only 12.7% of your chat isn't full-blown negativity. Quite a few of them also start with "cant", which can be construed as a lack of effort in attempting to play well or improve.

My recommendation would be to ease up on the self-deprecating attitude in-game. It doesn't help you play better, and it certainly doesn't improve the experience for your teammates. If they ask why something's going poorly, either try to respond with a respectful but true reason or don't respond, either option is better than the reasoning being displayed in this chat log.

So, I looked over your chat logs and I think you're focusing too much on the word "offensive". It's possible to create a negative experience without being offensive. Consider Eeyore. At the end of the day, no one hates Eeyore - but no one likes him, either. Someone who uses that kind of passive-aggressive talk can the thoroughly unpleasant to be around.

You're a negative person. Stop being so pessimistic.

All you're doing is dragging your teammates down with you, which in itself is toxic behavior.

You don't have to be making fun of other players on your team to create a negative atmosphere. Constantly saying "I suck" "what do you want me to do I am crap" and stuff along those lines also creates a very negative atmosphere and tbh, gets annoying after a while.

You don't just get punished for 'offensive' material. You seem really hooked on that word. You don't have to be offensive to get reported. If you are creating a bad experience for other players, you can be reported. Constantly saying "I suck" and saying it every time something happens in your lane gets annoying and makes it look like you're a negative person. That's why you got reported, it has nothing to do with being "offensive".

I'm really not exactly sure what kind of explanation you want. They gave it to you barebones multiple times, that generally speaking people don't need to hear you say you suck a hundred times. Not that you were offensive in any particular way, just that you don't need to spam it constantly. That's why you were reported. Not because you were offensive in any specific way really, just persistently pessimistic. I'm confused by the extreme amount of effort you've gone to over this, literally thousands of words of posts here on the boards and in support tickets. You don't have a Platinum or Diamond level account like some people who post here with far less effort after a ban, and you're the first one to admit you aren't all that skilled at this game. Why do you continue to play when you consistently find that you lose over a period of almost 2 years now? I just don't quite get why you are so obsessed about getting an explanation and being relieved of punishment with little to no expected return (other than getting to continue "sucking" as you so eloquently put it every 8-10 words or so). I just want to understand you honestly.
