Please change the names of "negative attitude" and "intentional feeding"

"Negative chat " Giving up, Needling/jabbing Report rallying

"Griefing/trolling " Deliberately trying to throw the game or annoy other players on purpose

That way chat and gameplay offenses are now completely separated allowing for better identification of trolling, and less confusion with what to report for.

Also. Please add "nonparticipation" as a report Avoiding afk detection Typing in fountain Refusing to communicate "Note, not typing and /mute all are okay as long as pings are still used"

No one will ever get punished for not using pings. Pings are helpful, and should be used frequently, but there's no way to tell if someone is deliberately not pinging, or just has poor map awareness.

Negative attitude already covers the three things you mention.

Intentional feeding already covers the thing you mention under "griefing/trolling" - the "griefing" in negative attitude is for smaller griefings.

"nonparticipation" usually falls under one or more of: afk/leaving, intentional feeding, or negative attitude.

The comments are for clarification of the report - they're read anytime a Rioter reviews it which is almost 100% of the time for cases not related to chat/afk.

I have to admit that I'm biased whenever I enter one of your threads, but this time I'm positively surprised. The idea of separating chat and gameplay offenses does kind of make sense. Generally singling out "intentionally feeding" versus other kinds of griefing has always bugged me a bit, and I really like the idea of clustering the different kinds of non-participation together.

Not sure if I agree with the wording of "negative chat", since it sounds even more vague than those categories are already. I also disagree with bringing back "refusing to communicate", but I do believe I know what you mean with it (in which case again, it'd be more the wording that I disagree with).

I hope there's going to be some more discussion about this, because I think this is actually a pretty sensible idea. And honestly, as subtle as it is, the report categories and examples given do shape an idea of what is and what isn't punishable. The less confusing and the more specific they cover certain offenses, the more likely will it become common knowledge that these things are not acceptable.
