locked out of my account due to "suspicious activity"

So long story short my account was locked to suspicious activity (won't tell me what they actually mean) - then got me to answer all these verification questions - i answered as best i could, then sent me more and i answered again. then they basically told me that the answers weren't good enough and so they account will not be unlocked.

I am sure that the information i have provided is by far enough to verify the account is mine, i have given;

some of the easy ones;

  • email - set up email and the one i changed it to later on and verified to.
  • Account Username
  • Account Summoner name
  • server
  • Rp purchases - what i bought and also gave the receipts from the RP so that has the date and transaction ID, one of the two is 2 years old now (how would i have that if i recently stole the account or something?).
  • first rp content bought - i believe was a specific skin (rp reciept indicates i must have also spent some on something else, prob a champ, as the reciept is double what the skin would have cost )
  • main locations played from
  • any gifts

some of the harder ones;

  • first 1350, 4800, 6300 ip champs bought - not sure but i gave it an educated guess from what i can recall
  • first 5 champs bought - again few years ago so i had a try but who knows if i remembered right (i have played on a couple of accounts and remembering the details from one from a few years ago is tricky)
  • any refunds - dont think so but maybe i did some a few years ago

the only one i have probably not been able to give a good answer to i other locations i may have played from.

firstly i may have played through a vpn very very occasionally when forgetting to turn it off prior to playing but this has not happened certainly within the last month. never had an issue with this before though when this could perhaps been an issue since i made the account. (never had an issue with it before though, or on any other account)

i also have travelled a bit around europe and may have played when i do, but i cannot recall where i will have played (or if even on this account) or if i did at all as mostly i haven't played when i travel.

99% (perhaps 100%) of the time has been from 2 locations that i have provided

also my current IP address they asked for which i cannot give them now as i have moved address during when the account was locked and so have not played at my new place and so my ip doesnt match the one i last played from. (i know terrible timimg, am trying to get the old ip address though)

Am I being unreasonable? i believe that i have given enough detail to prove that this is my account, Yes i am sure i have answered some of the harder stuff not completely correct but the rest is pretty accurate.

The problem is they will not tell me what information i have provided is not sufficient to prove this my account, or what they thought was suspicious in the first place, at first i though it was an ip address changing issue (hence the detail provided here) but from looking at what they keep asking and replying it seems more like that don't think i am the rightful owner of the account - but that is certainly verifiable from the info given, no? please tell me if i am wrong or if anyone has any ideas on how to prove this is my account.

Just frustrating as out of nowhere i now cannot play at the end of the season perhaps ever again on this account with support not being of any help.

Thanks

They aren't looking to prove how long you've had the account, they need you to prove you created the account and have not given anyone else access to it.

If they find evidence you willingly shared your account with someone else, you won't get it back, as account sharing violated the terms of use.

I mean obviously they aren't going to tell you every single detail as to why it's suspicious. Or else people that do this to try and get access to another persons account would be able to do it with ease.

With that said a lot of these information should be common knowledge. I've been playing since maybe season 2, early season 1, and I can answer most if not all these questions if needed to. Especially when you think about it a lot of these questions could be easily found when you log into the account!

wow, I flat out can't answer any of those questions. Thx for sharing though.

This sounds like a highly unfortunate scenario, and I wish I could be more helpful to you! Theres another post on how a permanently banned player kept contacting Riot support until they found someone who gave them another chance and unbanned their account, so my only advice is to keep trying!
