why people get demoted when someone is afk?
I dont get it why ppl get demoted in that game when someone is afk in your team. I get it if you jsut lose the game but when someone is afk. Its not right!

why people get demoted when someone is afk
Misleading title. You didn't explain why people get demoted when someone is afk.
Agreed but it also depends on the AFKers reasoning, if he had an emergency family situation then I think you should be able to talk to League's support team. Or maybe the internet cut out or something happened that was out of your control or influence. Then the entire team should at least get cut some slack on LP or be able to talk to League support. But if you leave the game because you were mad or tilting, I feel like that's on your team, almost every reason why people leave games is that they tilt and people are flaming them. Bottom line, teams fault. Positivity helps win games, keep a cool head and make sure you're hydrated. Of course though, there are some situations where someone just leaves because they tilted and no one had said anything. I believe you should be able to talk to League support about that but I've never seen it done before (luckily).
Conclusion: League of legends in an unfair game sometimes, but cut it some slack. They're trying their best to develop a friendly community but with the amount of issues that the player base has (Connection issues, bad setup, anger issues, rudeness), it is almost impossible to fix. The most they can do is try to suppress these issues with the honor system and ban warnings.
Personally, I never leave games. Only times I've had is when my network cut me off.
So, if you have had a recent ranked game where it was clearly unfair, one or two people AFKed or intentionally feeds (without anyone flaming them beforehand). Talk to Riot support. Hopefully they'll work something out for you.
