Ever since I got my 14 days ban, I stopped typing in general, but I have a question for people in this board, it might sound offensive but once again, I don't think it is.

Why do players who never play ranked or who are gold & below try to convince others that being toxic does not help you win games? Maybe I might be one of the special coincidence, but I legit feel like when I'm toxic I manage to win more games and I don't think it hinders my gameplay or tilt at all. Am I alone in thinking this?

Why do players who never play ranked or who are gold & below try to convince others that being toxic does not help you win games?

Because it genuinely doesn't. Being toxic largely hurts your ability to win games, since your toxicity will likely demoralize your teammates - especially if you're just berating and harassing them. It makes them play worse, and, more than that, it makes them less likely to help you - ruining team cohesion and drastically reducing the chance of success overall.

Am I alone in thinking this?

You're not alone, but you're definitely not in the majority, either.

Toxicity doesn't win games because it distracts players from playing the actual game and keeping them from playing at their full potential. Also, toxicity isn't welcome in the community and highly frowned upon. With the report function at their full disposal, when you are toxic to a player, the player is more likely more willing to give up the game just to report you and move on.

You are more likely to lose because you'll provoke them into trolling, griefing, and possibly flaming you back rather than focusing on the actual game.

Depends on what you mean by "toxic". If you just call your 0/10 botlane "bad", then I agree with you; its not going to affect your gameplay at all. If you're constantly typing nonstop though, then it potentially could.

The reason why low ranked players and people who do not play ranked are so averse to toxicity is simply because they are not as competitive.

It doesnt hinder your gameplay, it hinders your team mate's gameplayer.

for me, when my team is like "OMG Glitchy gank for me or I'll feed then afk" that doesn't help, that actually takes my attention away from lanes that need it more, also saying like "you suck, uninstall" that doesn't help either, plus your team is more likely to leave you for dead just to get back at you.
