RIOT PLS ADD THE WHOLE CHAT IF YOU HAVE TO CHAT RESTRICT SOMEONE

I love how your chat restriction work, it's so innaccurate because we can't see what the other player was telling us, he was flaming the whole team even when he was the only one that failed (In normal game, not even ranked) Nobody said anything to him until I did, that's why I started answering him after ~15min of games because he would not stop until someone tell him that he was wrong. Some peoples are even calling others with racist names or whatever and they get nothing from it. So I was wondering when will you show the WHOLE game chat to show people which one to ban and which not to. You'll keep losing players and players and make the community looks like toxic and juvenile. Every single time that this Illaoi was dying, she would spam the chat and insult others. Should we keep quiet and let this happend? And this guy won't even be chat restricted or even ban? Kind of unfair isn't it? I don't mind, it's only 10 games of chat restrict, but still, Riot should read the whole game chat to choose the real guilty one.

Game 1 In-Game Haschich: blind zed Haschich: sure Haschich: Illaoi 15min always top, and now dying alone mid under tower Haschich: and crying whining in Normal game Haschich: enjoy ur ban trash illa Haschich: idc Haschich: You're toxic Haschich: and trash and blaming others for your fail Haschich: get reported Haschich: afk means afk Haschich: that's why you don't have any friends either Haschich: :/ Haschich: 1/6/1 Haschich: hahahaha Haschich: liar Haschich: feeder Haschich: from feeders and toxic player like you yes Haschich: yes you are haha Haschich: still crying illaoi for a normal game? hahahhaah Haschich: 3/2/2 better Haschich: than 3/6/6 Haschich: 3/6/0 Haschich: 0 assist Haschich: afk illaoi Haschich: gg Haschich: we report you Haschich: for flame and feeding Haschich: 1/7/1 Haschich: you were hahahah Haschich: so toxic and mad Haschich: why are you mad illa hahaha Haschich: get life seriously Haschich: are you a nerd? Haschich: like zed? Haschich: no friends? Haschich: only feeding

You are judged on your own behavior, not anyone else's. "He started it doesn't matter."

This works for you in all cases. You can never, ever be punished for what someone else did.

The reason you receive one-sided chat logs is to reinforce the fact that rulebreaking isn't justified because someone else did it first.

Was Illaoi toxic? Probably. Do they deserve a punishment of their own? Again, probably.

However, that doesn't permit you to stoop to their level and insult them, report call, and further derail the chat. Mute them and report them at the end of the match.

Should we keep quiet and let this happend? And this guy won't even be chat restricted or even ban? Kind of unfair isn't it?

Why do you think they wouldn't be punished? That doesn't make any sense.

It takes one report to trigger a game for automatic review, all you have to do is report the player. They don't have a higher chance to not be punished because you got chat restricted, if what they said was punishment worthy, they will receive one as well.

Riot should read the whole game chat to choose the real guilty one.

The above answer aside, it's not feasible for every punishment to be handled on a case-by-case basis. The system is almost entirely automated and it's completely unrealistic to ask that every report by reviewed manually for context and to prove who is "right" for lack of a better word.

RIOT PLS ADD THE WHOLE CHAT

Having you focus on anything but your own behavior is counterproductive to any attempt to reform. You are the only constant across all of your games, not the other players you played with.

None of your chat was helping teammates nor building better teamwork.

RIOT PLS ADD THE WHOLE CHAT IF YOU HAVE TO CHAT RESTRICT SOMEONE

I love how your chat restriction work, it's so innaccurate because we can't see what the other player was telling us...

You do get the whole chat - your whole chat. Other players' chat isn't included because you alone are responsible for what you say and do. Other players don't force you to say anything, you do that entirely of your own volition.

And besides, showing other player's chat would simply detract from your ability to understand how you broke the rules and do better to avoid it in the future. Case and point;

...he was flaming the whole team even when he was the only one that failed (In normal game, not even ranked) Nobody said anything to him until I did, that's why I started answering him after ~15min of games because he would not stop until someone tell him that he was wrong.

So I was wondering when will you show the WHOLE game chat to show people which one to ban and which not to.

Every single time that this Illaoi was dying, she would spam the chat and insult others.

You're needlessly focused on other people's behavior which doesn't factor into your punishment. Unless you want other people flaming to result in you getting punished, your behavior is all that matters in regards to your punishment.

Beyond that, it's not a matter of "which one to ban and which one not to" - both of you deserved punishment. The system doesn't care who started what, if you break the rules, you get punished.

You got punished because you broke the rules. I would advise you stop worrying about Illaoi and take an honest look at your own behavior. Don't try to excuse yourself with "I never start things" - that doesn't matter. You contribute, and you make the game worse in so doing.

Should we keep quiet and let this happend?

Yes. You're supposed to mute, report, and move on. Mute them so that their chat can no longer affect you, report them post-game so that the IFS will review their behavior and punish accordingly, and then move on knowing that you've done what you could and needed to, and that if they're breaking the rules and ruining the game for others, they'll get punished eventually.

And this guy won't even be chat restricted or even ban?

And you know that for certain? You said it yourself, they'd spam the chat, flame, and insult others. That's Verbal Abuse (Flaming, insulting) and Negative Attitude (spamming the chat, obsessive negativity), both of which are reliably punished.

And frankly, I fail to understand how you can doubt that they'd get punished when you yourself just received a punishment for exactly the same thing.

unlike the other monkeys in the comments, i agree. showing only your chat log is nitpicking which is never a good thing when it comes to crimes and punishment. idk what the tribunal was but i am sure it was better than this mess called IFS (which is anything but). the whole chat logs need to be posted so players know context (it won't stop the haters but you'll have to more to show). if riot is worried about their oh so precious name shame rule just replace summoner names with champion names or "[champion] bot" it is because of this nitpicking that a majority of toxic players are let off the hook.
