How far does Riot go to prevent intentional feeders who hide behind a VPN?

I've just met a player who admitted to account buying who also intentionally fed in my game for no apparent reason rather than to get some fun from their teammates' reactions. He/she also admitted to hiding behind a VPN so that they can continue inting games on different accounts eachtime one of them gets banned.

My question is what does Riot do to prevent this? And how do they do it?

It's pretty much impossible to prevent people from buying accounts, Riot can't control the flow of information. They can do their best to try and ban accounts that they believe to be bought/sold, but that only goes so far.

They can ban for intentional feeding, and if it makes you feel any better, that would mean that the person that bought the account would be out that amount of money each time.

We'll, they start by perma banning you if you reply to said person. and repeat the process. thats about it.

I mean, they dont do anything about it, and if you reply to said trolls if they say anything to you, and you type anything back, all they need to do is report you and viola, u get perma banned for nothing. and they keep on doing what they are doing, major system flaw.

What's the VPN going to do, it's not like Riot IP bans people.

The biggest thing protecting him is that Riot doesn't want to accidently ban players for a bad game (or being bad in general). That's what makes intentional feeding bans so rare, it's hard for an automated system to know the difference.

IP bans don't really do anything, even if you don't use a VPN. IP bans target the IP address, which changes if you unplug your router and plug it back in.
