someone threatened to track me and hurt me

so basically there was this salty Adc player on my game when I was support and he was flaming me so bad I got mad (I know I was stupid) and took all of his cs for the rest of the game he suddenly threatened to track me through IP and hurt me or whatever, So I lied to him saying that I live in korea and I'm using vpn and just ignored him but then after the game he friend requests me and threatens me again and tells me that my Ip is open to him(them) So I just made fun of him and all but tbh I'm not sure if thats possible or not and if he will actually do something to me he didn't seem american to me so I'm not sure what's gonna happen

Here are the screenshots of him messaging me https://imgur.com/QGFFldW https://imgur.com/3dRGOJN https://imgur.com/puZlMdC https://imgur.com/sjo1E74 https://imgur.com/mQLAEhs https://imgur.com/tWgitQO

can he actually track me?

There is a no naming-and-shaming rule on the boards, so you need to remove his name. I would also recommend you do NOT accept friend requests from people you know will not send something good in the future. I suggest you send a support ticket to Riot, but do keep in mind that private messages tend to be unmoderated. Threats like these tend to lead to nothing for the most part, but there have been one rare case where something like this has lead to murder, but I believe you should be fine.

he COULD track you if he is some kind of profi hacker but then again he wouldnt waste his time with (no insult) an every day normal person.

what he does is also against the law you could sue him for that (but thats a timewaste).

tl:dr just block him and ignore it. as long as you dont give him any personal infos youre completely fine. also you must remove his name, its against the board rules

Threats online are taken as seriously as threats off line. Report them to your local authority and fbi.

As long as you submitted the unedited screen shots of the conversation to player support, they'll look into it.

However, just an FYI, you shouldn't accept friend requests from people you think are going to be salty and harass you. Just block them and move on. You add people at your own risk.
