My 14 day ban seems unfair

Before i start, please see from my point of view and do not skip to the "Your behaviour in this game deserves the 14 day ban", because to be honest, one game should not be able to judge a player into a 14 day ban. I realize the mistakes that were made on my side, but the punsihments from Riot Games seem unfair. Whenever i try to contact Riot Games about this, I just get a Bot who tells me my chat logs, and when asked to redirect to a human, nothing happens.

Hello Riot Games This is another time im asking for a follow up on this situation regarding my ban on 14 days. I have never done anything wrong, but the one time i do, I get an instant 14 day ban. Does this seem fair to you? I understand you guys do not tolerate some aggressive behaviour, but this happened in one game and one game only, but you guys feel the need that one game is enough? That is just simply unfair and you are judging a player way to quickly. Now i cannot play with my friends over the christmas break until January 2nd, when the break is almost done. A 14 day ban is way to extreme. For this type of one game behaviour, I think the ban should be reduced or chat restricted because what I said may be offensive but not to the point of a 14 day ban. 14 days is way to long over ONE GAME. Understand where I am coming from and why this ban makes absolutely 0 sense and is unfair to me. A warning should be implemented into this game and chat restrictions before jumping to the conclusion of a 14 day ban. 14 days to think about why I got angry over someone that was inting in a game? Come on now. I know you guys are going to say that this is "out of your hands" and you "cant do anything about this", but in reality, see where I am coming from, because this is simply unfair. Saying that a 14 day ban is able to just be given because of offensive language that a player may have been offended by does not make sense. I would understand if multiple games were recorded and found hate speech and negative slurs to players. In one game, a player can simply mute the other person which is another reason this doesn't make sense. I have learnt that these types of comments are not allowed, which is why i think a chat restriction would be the best option.

Other games give 1 day, 3 day etc. bans, but 2 weeks?! "This behaviour is more than enough to land you in a 14 day spot." That is incredibly unfair I got NO WARNING People say way worse but they get away with it Doesn't make any sense.

Riot games says " If this behaviour continues, your account will be permanently suspended." This should have been a chat restriction with the warning of " If this behaviour continues, your account will get a 14 day ban."

And remember I have never got a ban on this account before, nothing negative, just one game i got a mad. ** I have never got a warning**

I'm not sure if you thought you'd get a different response from the community after your previous thread, but lemme tell you, that's not gonna happen.

The majority of your chat log was hard flaming, and these three lines in particular:

JulzFTW: braindead %%%%

Are what bumped your punishment up to a 14-day ban from the gate. You should know better than to use hate speech like that. It doesn't matter if there's a player intentionally feeding on your team - nothing excuses flaming, and there's absolutely nothing that can excuse your use of hate speech.

So, should we also allow people to get just a chat restriction for racial slurs, homophobic slurs, and encouragements of self-harm? Because you used a disability-based slur, and that's right up there on the same list of offenses.

And since Riot isn't about to go easy on people for using hate speech and encouraging self-harm, your instance of hate speech will remain punished in the same manner as the rest. 14-day ban, no questions.

And if you think a 14-day ban is unfair, maybe next time, don't flame, and more specifically, DO NOT use hate speech.

I think this is an unfair request to ask. Not that it's not fair to ask people to consider your point of view (dealing with an intentional feeder is an awful experience, and I understand it can be super frustrating), but because it says "before I start, agree with me that my ban is unfair." You're effectively demanding that we only read your thread if we agree to agree with you, as some of do believe one game of sufficiently bad behavior -- even though situations can be frustrating -- is worthy of serious punishment.

I'm well aware that one game can cause someone to snap a bit, and there's leeway built in. When I see one or two lines of frustration -- even some insults -- I'm usually inclined to be sympathetic. In your chat log, however, you use misogynistic language as an insult, call other players shit, call them a rude term for mentally challenged, call them kids, and continue this behavior over the course of nearly all your time talking. This is not simply a small outburst you managed to control, but rather a large and rather severe one that violates multiple rules in rather egregious ways. I can't agree it's unfair to take strong action against that, as it's clearly more than a momentarily lapse in judgment.

Re-read the summoner code, hate speech isn't tolerated, period. It doesn't matter that you never got a warning, it doesn't matter if this is your first offense You used hate speech, called someone brain-dead and constantly harassed other players,

Post chat logs from game client please. That way it’s easier to see if you deserved it or not.
