Honor progression help

I got chat banned for 10 games about 2 weeks ago. My honor locked at lvl 1 and unlocked a couple days later. I've played 64 games since, talked with support twice and they both told me I'm doing good and reforming. I have not got a single honor checkpoint.

How much does it take? 64 games over 2 weeks and not even a checkpoint? I feel like i have no time until end of season.

I had not been punished for 4 years prior to this. I don't understand why climbing honor is impossible despite trying my hardest (glhf, positivity, ggwp, almost 0 chat messages that are not those 3)

Honor system is bad that is why. For the same reason that even if you played 30 games per day getting 2-4 honors each game you still could not progress to honor level 5 prior to about 2-2,5 months ago. It feels like Riot just decide when it is ok for players to get the next checkpoint regardless of net honor numbers. The system is not fair to anyone (that would mean its fair but harsh huh?) no actually the system is designed to keep you grinding honors at a steady rate over like at least 60%-70% of the season to get to honor 5. I do not have hard proof of this because how could I? But there are some facts such as

  1. The majority of players that play more than a couple games a week all get their honor checkpoints within a week or 10 days of one another ( so there is a limit to how much you can progress in the early season)
  2. NOBODY (not even professional streamers that play like 12 hours per day each day) got their honor to level 5 fast.
  3. Often after breaks when a lot of time has passed you hit double checkpoints within a day of one another (maybe because you already had enough honors for the checkpoint but the checkpoint itself wasn't "available" by riot so after you start playing again you get both within literally hours of each other)
