Flaw in remaking games design

The remake addition is a great thing (tbh i think it could be extended to 5 minutes instead of afk for 2/3 minutes make it 2/5 minutes).

However I don't understand why anybody would remake if lets say you forgot smite, wrong runes/masteries, bad match up 100% going to lose, or something w/e excuse you want to justify a remake. Currently if you remake you have to be afk 2 minutes before the 3 minute mark. And the person who quit will count as a lost match, and -lp. HOWEVER, you could play the game out (for example, smiteless jungler will be serverly underlvl'd due to not being able to buy the jungle item and wont have smite, and won't beable to contest end game objectives) and atleast have a chance to avoid the loss. I would like to see ur - LP be reduced so people don't drag their entire team down with them.

PS. Add a favorites button to champions, or add a way to sort by mastery lvl.

TL;DR In soloq there is no reason to remake because its still a 100% weighted loss. When you could play it out and drag everyone down with you for a chance at a win. Reducing the penalty to 50% would be good imo.

And what about the times when someone just never connects? Had that problem a few games earlier today. Connections were being sporadic and people just never connected. The 3 minute is deemed the reasonable spot due to most people hitting level 2 at this point. If extended to 5 minutes, the returning person would most likely be 2 or 3 levels behind. In turn this leads to enemy snowballing. The remake only counts as a loss on the player who is having the problem, sucks for them unless it classifies it as a dodge (since that is only a few lp)
