Is it bannable to mute everything in the game? and not help jungler start blue?

title says it all, i want to mute everyone and just stay in alone until teamfights. I'm honestly really tired of jungler starting blue top and making me tank the damage making me lose 125-175 health and some CS

No you can't get banned. Will it put you at a significant disadvantage when you don't help your jungler? I would think so.

As a tank support, I usually try to tank the first hit and third hit. I do this to help the jungler and to take advantage of the health regeneration of both champs. I'm not well versed with doing this as a solo laner, so I don't have much better advice to give.

Short Answer: No.

Leash until 1:48. That will give you enough time to get back to lane and not lose any CS. It's possible they're not trying to make you tank. They might just be trying to pull it to the brush. But if they are trying to get you to tank, go ahead and leave.

I think it's pointless to start blue if it's top, there's raptors and red which are way more useful i think blue should only be used if you are low on mana and Bot lane is good at leashing because the monster dies faster and they can get to lane in time

It's not bannable. But you don't have to tank just leash them not helping your jungler sets them quite behind especially if they don't a have a strong first clear

Is not correct depends on your pathing and your champion and the jungle match up starting blue can be beneficial

Tylically junglers aren't trying to make you take any damage; they're trying to kite the buff so they can clear more efficiently. It bugs the hell out of me when I'm trying to kite the buff, only to have my helper stand there and tank damage. Think about this. If I just stand there while I take my buff, that puts me at a disadvantage. If I stand there instead of going to the edge of the buffs movement range, two big things happen:

  1. I take more damage. It's just like kiting as an adc. If they stand there, they're going to get killed quicker than if they kite, even if someone is in their face.
  2. I waste time. If I stand at blue then go to gromp, that's an extra 3-4 seconds. It doesn't seem like much, but take it from someone who mainly plays jungle; those several seconds make a huge difference. Those 3-4 seconds can be the difference of being able to counter-jungle, being in position to countergank, get the jump on scuttle for river vison, etc. Also, you taking damage and missing cs puts you at a huge disadvantage, so never sacrifice your cs or health for your jungler (unless he ganks you and gets you a kill, he's allowed to take a FEW cs then :p). If a jungler moves from their buff as they take it, they're more than likely just trying to be effecient. If you practice leashing effectively, you won't take any damage. Don't assume otherwise, but if they are making you take damage, GTFO because they aren't worth it.

Edit: I forgot about the first part of the post. Muting all is actually very beneficial, especially if you're prone to tilt. It'll help keep you from getting emotional about the game and you'll focus more on yourself. You'll learn to make your own calls. You stop following people into suicide plays because you won't care about their flame afterwards. You'll learn to pay attention more. Instead of getting mad at your teammate for not pinging the mia Thresh that ganked your lane and got you killed, you'll be upset at yourself for not paying more attention to the map. It'll promote self focus which will improve your game overall.

Yeah I personally hate the blue start when I'm top lane. It just hurts that first part of laning phase and you come in already slightly behind. I know it's nearly inconsequential and the help for the jungler compensates, but God damn it is just annoying. Go red and then straight to blue if you really need that blue buff. I know it's not optimal for you, but me leashing blue isn't optimal for me.

Edit: didn't even address the question. No I don't think it's punishable to mute all and not leash. Leash is like meta courtesy. Nobody really has to do it, but it helps.

You can mute whoever you want, but you probably won't climb high.

Do 3 autos + 1 spell on camp and leave.

losing cs to leash blue is never worth, leash with a couple of autoattacks then go back to lane. The enemy leveling up 30 seconds before you can get you killed in lane realy easily.

EndlessSorcerer8/20/2017, 4:57:41 PM1 votes

It isn't punishable.

Leashing for the jungler isn't necessarily required but it is definitely more efficient.
