Is it really necessary that leaverbuster completely lock you out of your client for the duration..??

Would it not make more sense that this extra long queue time could be used to browse the client and not feel punished like a small child? You are locked, barred, preventing from interacting with the store or champion pages or runes or masteries for, up to, 20 or whatever minutes.

This seems like too strong of a negative reinforcement; you already took away access to normal queues, do you really need to remove our interactions completely for the time being?

Because honestly, after 20 minutes of waiting, I feel panicked and rushed to quickly change whatever rune or mastery pages I thought about in that time.

Please, I urge you to reconsider your punishment systems and the subtleties in them. I'm glad chat bans now tell you WHY you were banned; please look into this other punishment now too.

there has been a ton less people afking in my games since this was introduced so i guess its working as intended. if you are the type to get leaverbustered and chat banned often maybe you should just get a bunch of smurfs so you can instaswitch to a level 10 alt and play with other intolerable assholes.

20 min queues dont do anything, they just piss you off more adn make you more likely to afk again because youre pissed before even starting the game

I'd actually prefer that it stays that way. Punishment for going AFK should be very severe, and having to wait 20 minutes without access to anything else in the client is obnoxiously annoying. Which should hopefully make people think twice about going afk (granted sometimes things come up/internet problems occur)

If it was up to me I'd make it 40 minutes each queue tbh.

Imo these pleas for more lenient punishment is the result of a generation of parents too scared to punish their children. It's the nanny state. Punishments are supposed to suck. But these kids don't get real punishments anymore because parents get in trouble for touching their children in an aggressive way these days. Yall got no discipline... just stop leaving games.
