As you read below, look for context. Riot support doesn't even personally read support tickets in regards to player behavior. They send "catch all" copy pasted bs that no one cares about to avoid "hurting feelings" rather than doing their damn job and looking at individuals as individuals. This particular catch all was aimed at the whiners who "didn't start it" and had nothing to do with my original inquiry.

I've taken some time to go through your logs and I'll admit, I’m really sorry you had to deal with that kind of behavior. I’ll take a look at the match and follow up with any players who were negative and make sure appropriate actions were taken. I’m sorry to say, but when it comes to the placement of this penalty, I don't have great news. I won’t be able to reduce this for you, but I want to take this time to provide you with context as to why this penalty has been applied and tips to prevent any future ones when faced with these types of games.

After taking some time to look through your chat, it does look like there was quite a lot of typing. When queuing up for a match, we all have the same goal in mind and that's to get a win. Communicating with your teammates is absolutely critical in helping your team achieve victory but sometimes typing too much can be more of a hindrance - rather than helpful.

If other players are causing issues in your game, please do make liberal use of your mute function. Players often forget how powerful this simple feature can change the course of the match.

Short phrases like:“Ult soon, ward dragon”, "Catch somebody out there, wait with me", are really effective and get straight to the point. In addition, I'd suggest using smart pings and emotes when you need to communicate quickly. The less time we spend in chat, the more time we can think about executing a plan of action.

I know this can feel harsh, but I’m confident you’ll be able to avoid any further penalties with the context I’ve given you here. If you need anything else, feel free to reach back out to me.

I would like to point out that you support streamers who type that their teamates are brain damaged, r%%%%%ed, or otherwise mentally impared constantly, THAT are part of the LPP. Example, Yassuo. I have nothing against you personally, but if you cannot provide the exact text to support any infringement of the terms of service then I do continue to demand a removal of my punishment immediately. Or simply state that you don't care about your fan base and i'll quit your game.

I completely get how frustrating this is, but we do have these rules in place to try and keep the community as free of negativity as we possibly can. In this case a chat restriction is meant to be a small nudge to keep your chat focused on the game, but again I understand how harsh it can feel. I’m really sorry to say, but the context I’ve given you about your chat does go against our behavioral guidelines, and I won’t be able to reduce this for you.

LOL so entitled. "I DEMAND..." so on and so forth. Riot allows you to play their game, and in no way are you a special snowflake that deserves what you want. I may be mistaken, and if so please correct me, in the ToS it says you can be punished at any time since these are riot accounts you're allowed to use, not your account.

Player support isn't there to provide every answer to every question. They're there to assist with problems, such as not understanding a suspension or questions on how to improve afterwards. It doesn't help you or the rest of the community to know specifics about the ToU.

That being said, if they're dealing with multiple customers with similar complaints, I don't see a problem with scripted responses. It's short and to the point, but occasionally that can cause fatigue and missing complaints or specific responses. It does come off as robotic and impersonal, but it should be (imo) cost efficient.

My "Punishment" was given for ... and i quote here such gems as: "After taking some time to look through your chat, it does look like there was quite a lot of typing" and "your chat does go against our behavioral guidelines" absolutely zero specifics and typing too much is the take away. no terms of service violations etc.

Well they already have your money which means you supported what they did. No refund, Riot doesn't give a shit actually... they don't have to.... talk about scummy free to play business. They would also completely ban your account if you continue "typing too much". xD

OP, I don't think that you will be getting the punishment revoked once they've decided that you've been penalized for a good reason. You can only follow their suggestions for the future games that you play. Also, what about your chat logs?
