I have a quick question

Is calling someone a noob or saying "Owned little noob" on the same par as being called a F*g or the N-word multiple times?

Clarification

No, no. That's not what I'm asking. I get it, what I did was a dumb move, I became enraged and went overboard. But what I'm asking is, are the penalties the same. Me calling someone a noob after being called the above resulted in a 10 game restriction (first in a very long time, so eh). But does that mean that resulted in the same minor level of punishment for them?

No but both are equally reportable

You can get a report/ penalty for calling someone noob or saying easy /ez

It´s got even confirmed form riot that this words are report worthy.

Because this words have a negative meaning and influence on the player behavior.

And no the system makes no differences!

Get x reports approved and you get chat restriction after that 2 week ban and at last permaban

The best way is to be humble in victory and defeat

as i sayd above there are only 3 punishment and normal the goes like this

  1. chat restriction for x games
  2. band for some weeks
  3. permanent ban

Depending what you did some parts can get skipt

So the way people are describing this is that calling someone the N-word or using homophobic slurs is just as bad as calling someone a noob. Because to be honest, I really feel, as Riot has said in earlier articles, that racial and homophobic bigotry would warrant a permaban versus me getting slapped with a 10 game restriction.

Honestly, I don't feel like I did much wrong mainly because this was a more of a pent up rage towards dealing with people such as that and claiming they can "get away with it." And I say this as well since my last "punishment" was a warning back in early last year. This is the first actual action that's been taken against this account in a very long time.
