If you dont care why are you in Ranked?

If you join a ranked game, you should care about whether or not you win or lose the point of ranked is to win. The every time a laner loses lane they just say gg and dont even try they just play braindead the rest of the game. This needs to be addressed as a competitive game, people should care about winning but the majority dont and play ranked for reasons beyond me. There needs to be a way to check and balance your teamates so they cant just ruin your game at level 1 and say "ff so I can go again". Its bullshittt

At the end of the day, this is just a game and ranked is simply another game mode with ladder. Sometimes you win your lane, sometimes you lose your lane. Perhaps brushing it off or giving up is people's ways of coping with their own failures. Again, this is a video game for the purpose of having fun, even your precious ranked queue. Not everyone have a competitive spirit and those without will find themselves at the bottom of the ladder soon enough. It's just a game....

The Player Behavior board is full of players who don't play Ranked so don't expect any legitimate replies here.

Let's say a person is mentally weak and prone to giving up. They are on a losing streak, feeling terrible, and is doing horribly in this game. In this state, a lot of people would just give up. Trying to make them play better is incredibly difficult unless one is an exceptional team leader. It sucks that there are teammates who break easily (ex Tyler1) but realize they are human beings and cut them some slack. If someone is having a bad game in ranked, try to empathize with them to make them feel better. Also, try to think of a winning plan to make others think the game is winnable.

Its bullshittt The Fact you have 5 downvotes just proves why Ranked is so bad rn. People think normals arent good enough to try builds in and crap and run into ranked. Whats worse is people int, afk, rage quit, play while on drugs of some kind, flame allies all game, give enemy team information, and even ask for reports in all chat. I dont care if you are a lissandra support, what i care about is if you are afk for the first 3 mins or dont even try to win in the first place.

+1 for this. Ranked is a competitive gamemode and should be treated as such. If you want to play casually you literallt have 4-5 gamemodes for that:

normal blind
normal draft
ARAM
TT
RGM

What "competitive" players have:

TT ranked for which nobody cares about since it's not a true 5v5 experience and it's plagued by gold-funneling strats (last time I heard)
ranked flex which has fucked up matchmaking which makes it unfair to play, not rly a good characteristic for a mode that should be competitive
and soloQ, the only place where competitive players can go

So causals have 4-5 modes to play, competitive ones have 1. Pls don't play casually on ranked and leave it to competitive players, players that play to win, to climb the ladder. Cuz without it, they have no place in league..
