AFK penalty

can riot reverse a afk penalty? because.. mid game my wifi suddenly stopped working and was gone for 2 - 3 mins.. when i came back i said sorry to my team and all and they were fine with it... the match was funny there was no racial slur and anything of the sort but what shocked me was after the match i got an afk penalty not only that but i also lost rank points to top it off i was the most honoured player in the team/game... so i am just wondering if riot could reverse an AFK penalty..

*i have left a game a couple times none of them is because of me having a bad game it is because i have to help around the house thou i really wanted to stay and keep playing and i do understand and accept the penalty RIOT has given me but i am really bothered by this particular match..
