What is with the AFKs/Leavers? This has been incredible. Three games in a row.

I just got out of my third game today with a leaver. Game 1: Jungler disconnected after about 2 minutes, came back at the 10 minute mark. Loss. Game 2: Jungler disconnected as soon as the game started, came back at 8 minute mark. Game 3: Mid disconnects at level 3 (about the 3-4 minute mark) and never reconnects.

The system doesn't even flag it if they're not gone long enough - in so far as showing the X over the champion portrait in the post-game lobby. But each game has been a loss because even reconnecting you're so far behind.

It seems to me that there is harsher punishment handed down for making an offhand negative comment than for literally abandoning the match to the detriment of 4 players where actual LP (and not just feelings) is hurt.

Lately I have been having connection issues and heard from more people that this has been a problem. Every so often I disconnect and can't reconnect to the game, but can still use the client. Have lost a few games because of it already.

For most people I hear these issues from it started the last patch. Things like accepting a match, but getting a message you have declined. Unable to lock champs or bans (This has been a problem for longer). Disconnecting but still being able to chat with the people in the game is just the newest problem that has occured.

And yes, I have reinstalled etc.

I agree that it's a huge pain to be stuck in those matches, but there are a million different reasons for disconnects, and I'd say more often than not it's outside of the player's control.

I've never had a huge issue disconnecting myself, but earlier this year had a power outage during a storm about 20 minutes into what was a surefire win. Didn't come back on for around 30 minutes, and by the time I was able to log back in the game ended at 35 minutes with a loss.

It's a tough thing to police.
